board game bachelor party

Great spot for a group outing. this was a lovely location to hang out in, paddle around the lake, go to old forge and do some hiking. we needed big tables for lots of games, and this was perfect. Only downside to the place is no dishwasher, which can be a little tricky with a group of 8.

Spacious, comfortable, easy access to kayaking. Would have enjoyed the hot tub but it would not retain water. Nor did bathtub

Big house by the lakes

Nice big house, sparse kitchen though. Checkout cleaning requirements include vacuuming and driving your garage to the dump (transfer station) presumably because of bears. Lake is a 10min walk, amazing little lake that's shallow a ways out. Close to town for restaurants. Easy check-in. Amazing deck, but furniture gets dirty quickly in the woods. Games in the garage and indoor arcade is close by for rainy days.

Our initial reaction when we arrived was, ugh. The lawns were untended, we walked through cobwebs, there were webs in all corners and on the walls, dead bugs littered the floors, window sills, and counter, and nearly all the blinds were in some form of disrepair with a one in one one of the bedrooms unusable. The porch furniture was filthy and cushions had to be turned over in order to sit on, they were so covered with ick. Our view was glorious, but we discovered our access was to the right from the inlet, the description didn’t mention that what we saw, we couldn’t use. Once we settled in though, the accommodations were great. We had ample room, our week was cool, so there were no issues with temperature comfort. Our littles were overjoyed with the kayaking excursions and fishing. The kitchen was more than accommodating for our family meals. Overall we had a wonderful time.
