The staff is super friendly and accommodating. The location is quiet. We stayed during the winter, but the lake view from the restaurant and breakfast area were really nice. The hotel was well kept and clean. We’ll definitely stay there again.

The staff were very nice, the room was clean and generally pleasant. the beds were not bad. They provide a continental-style breakfast, which is something. They are also dog-friendly! And there is a wonderful Indian restaurant that is adjacent to the hotel, and it is good! The only negative was a bit of mold, presumably causing some sinus issues, but that is to be expected in a hotel right on a lake like this. Otherwise, we would certainly stay there again.

It’s a nice stop. Real level 2 EV chargers are what gets me there - amazing how hard that is to get right. It’s a bonus that it is a nice place to stay. Also appreciate real hard boiled eggs vs. whatever passes for eggs at chain hotels

This is the second time I’ve stayed at The Black Swan for the holidays while visiting my family. I like the fact that breakfast is included and they have everything from the traditional “continental” breakfast fare to hard-boiled eggs and microwave-able breakfast sandwiches. I also like the in-room Keurig coffee maker. The guest WiFi was great - no buffering.

The room was immaculate and comfortable. Having an onsite restaurant (and a quality one at that!) was a definite plus. We were there in the cold of winter so the lakeview was just thst. We wojld considrr returning in warmer weather with the kids/ grandkids as the environment is family friendly.

Really quiet, peaceful stay and beautiful spot for the money. Front desk staff so nice. No elevator to second floor so keep in mind if have accessibility issues/wheelchair user. Great view and gluten free menu options. Would stay again if in area. Was just passing through on way to medical appointment.

Room was clean and had no smell/fragrance whatsoever except maybe a very slight wood smell. No air fresheners. No febreeze. No obnoxious laundry smells. Absolutely perfect. Staff was friendly, view of the lake was beautiful. Breakfast was okay to bad. All options were highly processed (except hard boiled eggs). Example: “syrup” was the Smuckers fake stuff, the cream cheese had unnecessary ingredients like manufactured citric acid, etc. Only protein options were I think hard boiled eggs and yogurt with sugar and flavoring and other ingredients. There were microwave breakfast sandwiches too I guess. If you have food sensitivities just plan on bringing your own or finding another place. They had a really big tea selection available all the time and you can buy refreshments including beer at the front desk. The restaurant was really good with a beautiful view and great service. Was able to take a bath, lots of places to hang wet hiking clothes. The area is beautiful. Highly recommend the roaring brook trail to Mount Greylock. Would stay again in a heartbeat. If you have mobility/strength needs, make sure you book a first floor room as there is no elevator.
