The service good and the breakfast was far better than average. Room was clean. TV was working off and on, but there was storms going on. no hot tub and pool was not heated. I was suppose to get a King Executive Suite,per my Hotels.com Reservation, but was given King room only.

Older hotel needs some refresh.

Front desk people were friendly. Hotel was older. There was mold on the curtains in our first floor room and the room kind of smelled like it. The rest of the room was clean but had an odd smell. Room upstairs was loud, so that was annoying. Breakfast was the usual fare and was adequate.

Great last minute stay

Every staff member we interacted with was kind and considerate. The elevator was a little damaged but just cosmetic issues like scratches and peeling. Hotel room was nice enough. Nothing fancy. Need weights in the bottoms of sheer curtain so they don’t blow around from the AC.

Original room was terrible - musty odor, chairs in very poor condition, no toilet seat lid, no internet. Manager moved us to another room - if not, we would have left and forfeited our room charge. Following morning, milk for coffee was sour. Very poor showing for Marriott.

The original room had a dirty bathroom with hair in the sink. We previously called to have a handicap shower chair and were assured it would be available. It wasn't. Switched rooms. Key cards didn't work. Once in new room...trim peeling off of night stand. No charger ports. Phone not connected. Front desk clerk working alone. GM supposedly "shopping " for shower chair. Really? Marriott or Super8? NOT HAPPY!!

Traveling with children, they are always looking forward to swimming in the hotel pool. In the way from Texas to Michigan, the pools at both hotels were closed for various reasons. So, it was quite disappointing to find the pool at Fairfield Inn also closed.
