This has always been a great place to stay. This time, the room was a little less tidy than usual. It didn't look or feel like the floor had been cleaned and it was rather dusty. I'm sure it was just a slight overlook as this property has been very clean on a previous stay. Other than that, it was a excellent stay!

Just my feelings.

We were disappointed that our room was not serviced, but we caught a staff person who got us clean towels . Stains on hallway rug. And shower was very slippery and they did not provide safety mat. Towels were very soft and fluffy. Check in was easy as well as check out. The special touch of doggie bowls, treats and poop bags was a VERY nice touch. And a room that had windows that opened was a great.

This was a great place to stay within a beautiful, very reasonable drive to Telluride. We ate at 66 Eatery nearby which was really cool and yummy! I really appreciated the hooks on the wall and full sized mirror in the room at this lodge, along with the reading lamps attached near the bed. These extra touches were really nice and came in handy and is not something you see all the time at hotels.

We would stay again!

The hotel itself was wonderful but with being there Labor Day weekend we had quite a few Rowdy Neighbors and the walls are a little thin. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay, it wss clean, and the price was very reasonable. We really liked that it was located at the edge of town and easy access to Ouray!

When we arrived the fire alarm was going off in the restaurant. Since that area doubles as check in it was loud. The staff person that approached us was not welcoming and couldn’t check us in. Finally then registration person came but she was so flustered about the alarm which had been going off for about an hour at this point. We had already paid and it was after 8pm so there was no other option for us. Fortunately the alarm stopped about an hour later. Glad it was only for one night. I’m sure it’s adequate for a stopover stay.
