Clean, spacious family room. Patchy wi-fi, slightly out-dated bathroom but clean and usable. Basic pub grub, but be aware they don’t do breakfast. Lots to do in the area and a good price, would definitely stay again.

Extremely good stay at The Shakespeare Inn, Coalport. Hotel rooms were immaculate with daily housekeeping and lots of little extras to make you feel at home. On the Thursday we dined in the restaurant where we decided to sit outside so we could enjoy our food with a view. Really beautiful place, nice and quiet, will definitely return!

The rooms were clean and comfortable and belied the rather inauspicious entrance out the back of the pub. There were little touches (water, coffee/tea and biscuits) that made us feel welcome. The beds were very comfy.
