Very helpful staff on the front desk, have been visiting the Mercure 2-3 times a year with my gymnast daughter and have always had the same experience, rooms are cleaned well with lovely comfy beds. Pool is great and maintained really well and staff are so helpful.

Great location for the international arena, hotel was well maintained and clean although the room was a bit cold and the hot water in the bath/shower was scalding or freezing and the hand basin didn’t get hot. Staff were very pleasant and the breakfast was great, I would recommend.

Two night stay. Checked in and was given a room without AC which I knew I would struggle with, but a quick trip to reception and I was moved to a room with AC. Room was very clean, with everything you need. There was a socket that looked a little dangerous as was hanging off the wall but didn't affect my stay. Decent breakfast with a lot of choice. The outstanding thing for me was the staff. Each and every one of them were friendly and helpful on what appeared a very busy weekend for them. I would certainly stay again if I needed a hotel I that area.

Stayed 3 nights. Comfortable clean room. Could have done with more milk, tea bags in room ( as with most hotels, have to keep going to reception for proper portions !). Breakfast £18, no choice to have just toast/bacon sandwich and coffee, or a smaller cheaper version. Nice clean large hotel though. Check in always takes a while and was charged for parking without being told I was? Just saw it on my receipt.

The room was clean tidy and the bed was very comfy. The shower was not very powerful. Soap was provided, but no moisturiser.. I had a drink at the bar which had no ice as the machine was broken. I used the swimming pool but looked fairly cloudy and the locker room didn’t have locks unless you bought your own. Clean towels Were provided. Overall this is a nice hotel but maintenance needs improving.
