The room looked dated. The bed had a fluffy blanket and decoration pillows which seemed to me like they wouldn’t get washed after every stay. Better location having the lake and the yacht club in walking distance.

Location is good for activities in Lake Taupo and nearby shopping/coffee/bakery. Carpet,bedding and towels could use a little refresh but overall a nice stay.

Not so good. Staff was slow to attend the office. The room wasn't the one I'd reserved and had no view of the lake. The two outdoor pools were only tepid. Room decor needs replacements and the main light was falling to bits and dangling by it's electrical cord!
