The staff were excellent. They were very friendly and helpful; they even allowed us to check in a few hours early. The house keeping however, we’re extremely noisy around 8:00 am in the morning banging and pushing their cleaning carts around, and inadvertently waking us up. This went on for a good hour or more, so we were unable to get back to sleep. The ice maker was also broken, so we were running between floors trying to fill our ice bucket up. Overall 3/5.

A Perfect Stay on the Water! I absolutely loved my stay at the Tampa Marriott Water Street! The location is unbeatable — right by the water with breathtaking views day and night. My room was spotless, spacious, and beautifully maintained. The staff was amazing — friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with anything I needed. There’s also so much to do in the area! From great restaurants and shops to fun activities and entertainment just steps away, you’ll never run out of options. Whether you’re visiting for business or a relaxing getaway, this hotel has the perfect mix of comfort, convenience, and charm. I’ll definitely be returning!

The hotel was amazing and we had a wonderful time. They charge a destination fee, but provide a true service compared to other hotels. The destination fee included a trip with a watertaxi or bike rentals. $30 off in one of the onsite restaurants including the JW across the street. They had great entertainment in the evening and a lot of guest enjoyed it. I also liked their water fill up station with different flavors and convenient store/ bakery/ coffee shop. The valet parking is $50 - this seems to be the going rate nowadays, but I heard a few guest that were surprised about that steep fee. There are parking garages near by, but we didn't check their prices and the hotel didn't provide alternatives to valet.
