I loved this location and my room. I am so happy there was a trolly to get my lugage to the room. I was sad the pool was closed early. I was also surprised there was no coffee/tea stuff in the room or a place to hang my clothing but other than that my room totally was amazing. I must have had the best room in the whole place. This is my 3rd hotel in the area and will be forever the only hotel i come back to.

We did not eat breakfast at the facility. The lobby is updated, but the overall grounds are dirty and outdated. The door did not seal properly, and light came in around the edges when it was closed.

This is our second time staying here. It's very close to Busch Gardens. The staff, nearly every one we've met, are truly great and eager to help. The only shortcoming is the 'breakfast'. Barely cooked sausage, terrible little pancakes, and oj that was thick and sour, like it needed more water. The waffle iron? Apparently it's just for decoration. We were told 'it's not waffle day.' 'What about tomorrow?' 'No, also not a waffle day.' All that being said, we'll prob here again would we return to the Tampa area. The beds are comfortable, plenty of hot water and pillows. We'll just not expect a decent breakfast. Thus, four stars.

What didn’t go well was the Air Conditioning unit— obviously it had leaked inside of the room over a period of time and had soaked the floor so badly that it had caused the flooring tiles to buckle up; I stumbled as I attempted to cross over them. The worst part was the odor — it wreaked water damage! I had to air out the room for an hour and keep the A/C unit off the entire night, making for a very uncomfortable experience, to say the very least. I may never stay at a La Quinta again!

I had a very disappointing experience at this La Quinta location in Tampa. From the moment I arrived, there were issues with the room keys not working properly. I had to repeatedly return to the front desk just to gain access to my assigned room, which was extremely frustrating after a long day. What made the experience worse was the staff’s attitude. Rather than being helpful or apologetic, the staff was extremely unprofessional and dismissive when addressing the problem. There was a clear lack of customer service and urgency to resolve a basic issue that should not have occurred in the first place. I would not recommend this location and will not be staying here again.

We got a room towards the back of the building, it felt extremely unsafe. The worst part it was infested with cockroaches. It was the worst experience I’ve ever had. I was genuinely terrified please please go somewhere else.
