Staff at the counter gave us one room that housekeeping hasn’t touched. They did switch us to another room after asking.The building isn’t really up to date and could use a deep cleaning. There is a $50 deposit that is not disclosed when booking online. The parking lot/area around the hotel is VERY sketchy. There is only coffee for the complementary breakfast.

The hotel itself is not in good shape. It’s in a very bad area of Tampa. The manager requested a $50 deposit after I’d already paid and gave me a room with two full beds instead of one king like I’d booked. The siding glass door did not lock. The manager said the entire hotel is smoke free yet the entire hotel smelled of cigarette smoke and weed. So much to the point where I started coughing, sneezing and felt like I was getting sick. Worth paying a little more for a nicer place to sleep. The rooms were dirty, bedding dirty, floors dirty, bathroom dirty. Just wouldn’t recommend.

The bathroom need a remodel and a better cleaning of the tub and the base boards. Do not expect the hotel to be fancy but it’s satisfactory if you’re only here to catch a cruise or need a reasonably priced short stay.

Upon arrival I was given a room that had not been cleaned! Trash everywhere! Went to the desk and he gave me another room, of course someone was already occupying that room. He was a 6’12’ man that wasn’t happy with me opening his door on him at that time of the night!
