What could have been the weekend from hell …. Guests Beware!
The neighborhood was very uninviting & my entire family had was reluctant to even unlock our doors & exit the vehicle. The neighboring house looked like it needed condemned. The neighborhood was loud, there was what looked like a mentally disturbed or homeless man sitting on the curb. Completely u aware of his surroundings, loiterers made crude comments as we quickly got our luggage out & went inside quickly locking the door behind us. We could still hear loud neighbors partying, constant traffic & yelling in the neighborhood. The yard needed cleaned up & mowed, there were foundational issues with the house that messed the flooring up, horrible tile work in the shower, a hole in the ceiling the size of a vent, you could literally see into the attic. The back door would not shut properly, and there was a whole large enough for a small animal, or a snake to enter the living room. Crumbs on the counter, dirty window seals. It was daylight when we arrived, and we had an event we were attending and would be coming in like that night. We were all scared to be in the neighborhood during daylight hours much less after dark. We contacted the owner who seem to have no remorse and just told us to call the police if there was a problem so we left the property and was not issued a refund even though the property was completely misrepresented. The two night stay was so expensive, we could’ve booked a room at the JW Marriott for the same price! So disappointed.
