This is our second time staying, and the hospitality, cleanliness and overall welcoming atmosphere was as positive as the first time. Very comfortable and easy access to the Finger Lakes. Would definitely stay again, highly recommended.

Cute and cozy little place on the west side of Syracuse. Tastefully updated, clean and modern. Very convenient to everything on the west side of the city. The owners are charming and very helpful. Definitely recommended.

We stayed at this property while in town for a wedding in Skaneateles and it worked out perfectly. The owners were very nice and you could tell they do want people to enjoy their stay in the area. Our room did get a little hot in the evening and I wish the pillows and beds were a bit more comfortable. The shower handle was a bit hard to get adjusted to a comfortable temperature. There is easy access to a small shopping mall area nearby for more chain-type restaurants but also be sure to check out some of the smaller restaurants in the area.

This was our first stay at Nightshade. My son lives in Marcellus and we were looking for a place that was close to him, economical, and clean. We found this place to be ideally located, and I can't say enough about our beautiful smiling host! It was great to have coffee and light breakfast items available before we headed out for our day. We will certainly be back in the future.
