This is an excellent hotel in a renovated building that used to be a cinema museum. Rooms were large and well decorated. Bed was very comfortable, Location was perfect. Breakfast was also great. We liked everything about this hotel.

Okay, this could be one of the cutest and coolest places we have ever stayed. The staff was amazing and the location was great. Really loved the small elevator to get to our fantastic room with a little view of the Mediterranean . From this hotel you can go anywhere. CHARMING!

It is a beautiful property recently renovated. Very comfortable bed with fine linen and fancy large bathroom. Large breakfast with mamy choices. Has nice roof terrace with comfortable sofas and see view. Good elevators. Convenient location on the east wall close to the bus stop connecting with the bus terminal (#106). We hope to come back.

Awesome place! Barbara the manager was totally amazing and dedicated to making sure all our needs were met. The room was very clean and comfortable. Wifi worked great. Location. Was within walking distance of the center of town, shops and restaurants and the Valley of the Temples. This property deserves the highest recommendation!

This property is amazing. It has a cinema theme. The Manager is a true professional in every way the building is of high-quality our room/suite had high ceilings and beautiful views of the street and built in Terrace. The location is one block from the sea and very accessible to all the spots in Ortigia. We look forward to staying again in September.

Although the rooms are spread out throughout an old palace - a bit of a maze - the room was clean, large, with a nice balcony and in excellent shape. The hotel is in the middle of everything in Ortigia - shopping, restaurants, historic sites and seconds away from the sea. It’s on a pedestrian only street (most of Ortigia is pedestrian only) but taxis can come to the corner where vehicles are allowed, 50 meters from the hotel door. I highly recommend this place, though if you’re planning to arrive late, you may need to call the number on the door to be let in and get checked-in.

We were not familiar and it took a minute to locate as the entrance is not facing the street. Once we found it, Giuliani checked us right in and set up a parking valet for us. She helped us with our luggage and showed us to our room. Beautiful building with great history. Rooms were quiet and clean. The Manager, Domenico was an absolute treat and made us feel right at home. I can’t wait to go back. Grazie Mille, Lanterne Magiche! You have earned guests for a lifetime.

Super séjour, l'emplacement est idéal, très calme, le personnel est à l'écoute. La terrasse est splendide et offre une vue comme dans les films italiens, Et ppur ceux qui aiment le cinéma, l'hôtel a été réaménagé dans l'un des bâtiments qui habitait un cinéma, et il dispose d'une salle de projection privée ciné club extraordinaires. C'est cinéma Paradisio à Ortigia

Struttura molto bella e caratteristica nel cuore di Ortigia, un recupero attento di un palazzo antico. Operativamente non è molto comoda se si ha un'automobile ma se si vuole vivere appieno il centro storico di Siracusa è ideale. Il posto è centrale ma lontano dalla movida e dal caos notturno di Siracusa. La colazione l'ho trovata un po' deludente, mi aspettavo di trovare qualche prodotto locale nella proposta dei dolci e del salato, un po' anonima rispetto al posto che, invece, è molto caratteristico. E' un posto che comunque consiglierei.

We LOVED this property. It is perfectly located on a charming street with ocean views from the balcony. The room itself was enormous, with a huge main bedroom, tons of storage, a second bedroom behind that, a charming little sitting area in the entrance, and a spacious bathroom with large shower. The hotel used to be a museum of cinema, and retains some charming decor reminiscent of that. Don't miss the "home movies" from the 40s, 50s, 60s and beyond. Just charming.
