"We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. First night we discovered leftover food in the refrigerator and hair in the shower. We notified front desk and service was done by housekeeping. The most troubling situation was on the third day, we came back to our room door propped open. We had requested our room to be serviced at 10 am that morning before we left. The house keepers were working in the hallway and we asked them to give us more towels. We closed our door and went on for the day. You can imagine the horror when we came home to an open door to our room. We were told by the front desk receptionist Kimberly that the hotel housekeepers propped their doors open after they finish cleaning the rooms so the manager can inspect the rooms. She apologized profusely, saying that it was an oversight. For almost 12 hours our door was open. The housekeeping manager, Kayla did reach out to us the following day and left message apologizing for leaving our door open. After returning home, we called and left several messages, but heard from no one. Several staff members kept saying that’s their protocol. Leaving the door opened once they finished cleaning for inspection. I can understand if the guest has checked out for the day. But when you have guess like us who are staying several days, that protocol is a terrible one. There has to be changes made to make sure your guests don’t feel violated we would never come back to this hotel."

"My family and I have stayed here before and will definitely stay here again. From kayaking to fishing we had a great time. It is centrally located, you can walk to wherever you need to go. It is it is clean and very, very comfortable. We love this place."

"Great little place by a giant lake, with a cool little carnival (closed for the season at the time we stayed) and restaurants within walking distance. ONE BONE TO PICK would be the absence of linens towels and pillows. While I think it’s a little unusual and have never encountered in my stays elsewhere (who travels with ALL of that stuff? Linens?) and I guess it’s the host’s right to not provide to reduce costs, this element was not made apparent, which I think it needs to be. It’s totally on me for not reading the fine print, but unless I overlooked it elsewhere, this aspect wasn’t mentioned until 2 or 3 pages/clicks in, twds the bottom. This doesn’t take away from how lovely the place and stay was but it was a bit odd and frustrating not to have these things."

"My family had a wonderful stay at this beautiful house with a stunning lake view. We especially enjoyed spending time in the game room playing pool and taking advantage of the great selection of games available. The charming town was another highlight, and we loved walking to the local ice cream stand. The host was very responsive and communicative throughout our stay, which made the experience even better. We would happily stay here again!"
