Room was spectacular with views right over the harbour bridges, the opera house and out to the heads. The room cleaning was a bit slow, not turning up till 4-4.30 but the staff were friendly and helpful. The altitude restaurant was sensational and they managed to put us into a window seat two nights running even though we booked at the last minute. I had a facial at the spa which was so relaxing I almost fell asleep. All in all I thought the hotel and staff were second to none and I would definitely recommend spending the extra money to get one of the harbour view rooms.

Everything was flawless. The room was absolutely gorgeous, the view was amazing. All staff encounters were pleasant and informative. The hotel is minutes away from the Sydney Opera House and there were many convenient amenities. The pool, gym and locker room/shower areas were pristine. I cannot say enough great things about our experience with this hotel. If getting around by foot, know the property is on an incline.

The Shangri-La is the only hotel I stay at when in Sydney. I have tried a lot of the others but keep coming back, it’s simply the best! You can’t beat the location, walking distance to everything, high quality & standards, polished staff, and the food is fantastic. There’s nothing better than coming back to the hotel after a big day with meeting clients and sitting at the bar up on level 36 overlooking the bridge and opera house with an old fashioned whiskey, when I’m there I think about how amazing life is. Don’t t change anything! Jules.

Fantastic hotel!! Great location, friendly staff, our room was huge, clean and well appointed with a lovely harbour view. The bar and restaurant on 36 is pricy but a totally unique experience!!
