The room was clean and pleasant but very small. I liked that I could forgo daily room service. The staff were pleasant but sparce. There is a bar in the reception area but it was difficult to tell if it was operating as the whole area had one staff member and they were busy with check ins. Included breakfast was a bonus but lack of a restaurant at night a negative. The only close option was the Coffee Club next door which had a very limited menu. Not having a car made it difficult to reach other venues in the dark. Pleasant enough stay but not as good value as Meriton Apartments for a similar price (except the weekend I stayed, where the Sydney Marathon ensured most venues were well booked and expensive).

Good place to stay

Short walk to the metro and Macquarie Centre. Breakfast was good. Appreciated the offer for late checkout. Free parking was also a perk.

Was a great stay. Our room was on the first level near the balcony area overlooking entry so it was a little loud but later it quiets down so you won’t be disturbed at all. It’s a nice hotel and I try to stay at IHG hotels whenever I travel.

Stayed here for 2 x nights. Loved the design of the shower especially the door which could be used for the bathroom or shower. I've never seen that before. Breakfast was good, parking excellent. The bed was a bit hard but we did sleep quite well. Check in was easy and really fast. We'll be back.

The location was great, walking distance to the Metro and the mall. Breakfast has a variety of choices. The property also provides car service to the train station if you’re planning to take the train. Clean and friendly staff.

We booked and stayed in 2 connecting rooms on Level 2 for 2 nights. Unfortunately for us between 2.00am and just before 6.00am there were loud continuous sounds of furniture being dragged across the area near the door. it gave my wife and daughter an absolute fright. We would investigate the sounds but every time we switched the lights on, it would stop. On the first night we thought it was someone in the floor above us but it was relentless. The second night was the same and we thought it was cleaners however the front desk told us that no cleaners worked that early in the morning. I could hear the sounds from the connected room and after the second night we were convinced it was haunted! There was no way that the sound would stop when we switched on the lights and start again when the lights were off! Avoid Level 2 at all cost!
