The apartment was grubby. The walls had visible splashes and dirt, the kettle was covered in splatters of food, there was long black hair in numerous areas of the apartment and the blinds were grotty. I went to the shop and purchased disinfectant wipes and wiped down every surface it felt so unclean. I arrived late Sunday night like 10:30pm. When I got up on the morning there was no hot water, which when I messaged the maintenance contact they shared they knew there was no hot water the day before and nobody bothered to warn me or find alternative accommodation. I had a huge presentation to do on Monday at work and had to go unshowered when it had been extremely humid and therefore sweaty the day before. I ended up leaving the apartment after one night and finding alternative accommodation. Not happy at all and working with VBRO had been terrible. I have requested my money back and during the call I got cut off and they have not contacted me again despite having my mobile number.

This property is tired and on need of a refresh and redecorating. Cupboard door broken, light fittings loose , poorly cleaned. In need of a deep clean. Food and drinks left in fridge in cool bag for our arrival was “ disposed off” by cleaners. Contact person not accessible and we were told they don’t work Friday ( except on the information sheet in the apartment it said 5 day a week contact). Eventually tracked them down. Offered a further clean but tbh we didn’t want any disturbances after our 26 hour flight. Not recommended.
