I did the online pre-check-in, but the desk clerk still asked for my ID and credit card and had me fill out a form repeating all the information I entered online. Plus, no one was at the desk when I showed up, and I had to ring bell then phone and then wait. When I finally got the room key, they put me on the second floor even though the hotel is practically empty, and I could have been on the ground floor, which would have been much more convenient. And to top things off, when I got to my room, my key didn't work, so I had to go back to the front desk to get another one.
