Birta Stable Apartment at Cora's Icelandic Horse Farm in Southern Iceland

The apartment, which can accommodate up to four (or five upon request) guests, is located in our horse stable right in the middle of the farm. We have dogs, chickens, and quite a few horses. Horseback rides and riding lessons on very well-trained Icelandic horses can be booked upon request. Our farm is a small German/Icelandic family business, and we place great importance on the well-being of our guests and, of course, our animals. From our farm, you can take many excursions in all directions, making our accommodation ideal for longer stays.
In the kitchen, you’ll find everything you need for cooking: pots, glasses, and a small selection of spices, there’s a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, a dishwasher, a microwave with a baking function for pizza and bread, a kettle, a toaster, coffee filters, a thermos, dish soap, paper towels, and much more.
The bathroom has a walk-in shower, a toilet, and a sink with soap and toilet paper.
There are 2 beds downstairs in the living-dining area and 2 beds upstairs in the loft. Towels and bed linens are provided.
From here, you can easily reach many attractions, such as Gullfoss, Geysir, Reykjavik, Snaefellsnes, Skogarfoss, Seljalandsfoss, Vik, the Westman Islands, Reykjanes, the Blue Lagoon, Sky Lagoon, the hot river, and much more.
