The hotel is right in front of pebbles beach, that is the highlight. We enjoyed dinner and breakfast at the beach without getting into the car. We stayed at king bed suites, the room were clean and comfortable. We stayed with kids and baby, we also saw many other families with kids in the hotel. The area felt safe, rooms clean, the beach view was amazing.

Clean, modern room and bathroom. Really nice new shower. Excellent central location, with the beach around the corner. It would have been great if the room had an electric kettle for tea but it just had a coffee maker with 2 coffee pods provided.

I booked the 3 -bedroom penthouse for a night for my family. It was fantastic: Great layout, really well-maintained, and very spacious. The outdoor deck was great. Just downstairs is the beach and a lovely walk to the park and the other way is downtown Sechelt and all the shops. Had a fantastic dinner at Fred’s, the restaurant adjacent to the hotel and overlooking the ocean. Just steps away is a wonderful bistro Vin et Mer. Staff at the Inn were friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again. Recommend!

Was a little worried at the exterior pictures / reviews but we were pleasantly surprised to find a newly renovated room. Only negative was the twin beds…..very small for 4 average adults and queen beds would fit in the room. Smart tv was a bonus as we could use our own Netflix subscription.

We liked that this property was right beside the ferry in Powell River. The view from our room was fantastic. The room was extremely quiet considering huge ferries came and went while we were sleeping. We always found parking in their lot. Sibo, the young woman who greeted us was just wonderful, warm and so welcoming. She answered all our questions and rushed to do anything she could for us. She's perfect for being a good hostess. Since we are elderly we asked for a room without stairs (there are a lot of stairs and no elevator in this hotel) and we were given one on the ground floor. It was very small which didn't bother us in the least because it was exceptionally clean and updated. Our biggest problem was that there was a king-sized bed in a queen-sized room. I only had about 8" of width to get down my side of the bed and I couldn't crawl up onto the bed on my knees. We managed, though, and were very comfortable. Apparently the hotel was recently updated and it's very modern inside.

Overall, our stay at Sechelt Inn was okay, and we appreciated that the staff allowed us to check in early even though the official check-in time was 3:00 p.m. That was very helpful and a kind gesture. There were a few issues with the room. The sheets were very wrinkled and had several long hairs on them, which made us unsure whether they had been freshly changed. The in-room fridge was also quite noisy whenever the motor turned on, and the closet near the entrance needed some maintenance, as several of the shelves were broken or coming apart. The property is definitely older, but it was clear that the staff had made an effort to keep it clean and presentable. We had also booked an ocean-view room, but two large trees directly in front of our window blocked most of the ocean, so the view was mainly of the trees. :D It was not a bad experience overall, and we appreciated the accommodating staff, but at approximately $520 per night, we did not feel the room’s condition and view matched the price. At a lower rate, perhaps Max $300 per night, it would have felt much more reasonable.

The view was of the parking lot - not ocean. Location is nice for a walk. Bathroom extremely tiny. Little to no decoration. Strange television setup - few normal channels. The bed was Really quite comfortable but not worth the price. Should be a $150 - $200 room at most.

Outside was deceiving and we thought we accidentally went to wrong place but when we got inside it is fully renovated and very clean and new. I usually bring my own hairdryer but they had a regular full due in the room. Oversized towels. Netflix on smart TV. Easy to use thermostat. Friendly staff. The rooms all face the same way and no ocean view but that was ok because the ocean is pretty well right out the door. Very nice stay!
