The two front desk staff we met were wonderful! Very welcoming. We were disappointed that their restaurant was no longer open. We didn’t get to try the pool so no judgement can be made on it. The beds were the most uncomfortable beds we have ever slept on. Really not much better than sleeping on the box spring itself. I do understand that this a budget friendly motel; however, a traveler rents a motel to have a bed to sleep that is comfortable. Plus, the room overall really needs updating.

The building is old but clean and updated nicely. Quiet and felt safe. Pool was clean and not crowded which was great. Front desk person was not overly friendly but not rude either. Would stay again.

Stayed here to go to a festival in Cavendish and it was a great place. Very close to a mall and lots and lots of food options and a grocery store. Pool was great!

Staff were great, and the room was surface clean with everything needed and more(kitchen) The room is dated, with layered paint cover-ups, old worn out mattresses, running toilet and a rusty bathtub. One of the security doors was not locking leaving the building open to non-guests. It’s a great little spot, but needs some investment.

Pool was freezing cold - probably heating turned off. No food available - only pot of overcooked coffee. Staff was non-existent except for check-in clerk who was perfunctory. Very very clean and room was large. Not enough towel bars, though lots of towels in the bathroom. Excellent bedding - very soft. Noisy location with trucks rolling by - I had earplugs so mitigated this and there was nothing the hotel could do about it.

Disappointed

I'm going to preface this by saying I did not complain to the hotel, so I did not give them an opportunity to do anything. First the good- staff are incredibly friendly, drink prices at the bar are reasonable, lots of parking and we seemed to be a short drive to anywhere we went. TV worked well, good shower pressure. The bad- when I got on my bed I noticed what looked like a couple pubic hairs on the comforter, there was also an off-white stain in the middle of it. I was really grossed out and ripped the top off the bed and threw it in the corner. Hotels are notorious for not washing the comforters between guests, but I'm guessing house keeping didn't really check the condition of this comforter before putting it back on the bed. There was also something that looked like an old dry booger on the wall next to my bed. I knew they were booked solid so we couldn't swap rooms I inspected the rest of the bed which looked clean and freshly washed (as did the towels and face clothes). The bed initially felt comfy, but I woke up with a sore back, and my brother said the same for his bed.

Spacious room and easy parking close to the room. Usual amenities including fridge. Appreciated all the various electrical plugs and usb charging station. The McDonald’s and Tim Hortons were a 10 minute drive away, as breakfast was not included.
