So time of year is a major factor when booking at this hotel as with most authentic German hotels there is no AC in the rooms. Avoid a sunny room because masonry buildings retain heat from the day. The breakfast room and courtyard dinning were superb.

I booked this hotel for a short stay. Then I became ill and was in the hospital for 7 nights and was not well enough to travel to this hotel. I didn't realize this was a nonrefundable booking. When I realized that it was nonrefundable, and I was/am still sick, it just was not important to me to cancel the booking, so I did not.

This is our first time to Stuttgart. This hotel gave us a warm welcome. Room is very clean and bed is comfortable. Breakfast is a big plus, good quality and a lot of choices.

Nice stay

Check in was very busy and the words be kind came to mind. This is a family owned Hotel NOT a chain. The facilities are a bit dated but the restaurant and service in there is FANTASTIC! And great food. Perfectly adequate. Breakfast is fine. There are steps to get up to reception but staff happy to help with heavy luggage. Lift up to your rooms

Do not get stuck

If you arrive late in evening, there is no one at the registration and doors are locked. There is a note to ring the door bell but no one will answer it. There are phone numbers but no one will answer those either! So, you will be standing there for a long time!! and you will finally ending up going somewhere else. People maybe nice but I never got a chance to go in!

OK voor een nacht

Het hotel is schoon en wanneer beschikbaar gratis parking in de straat. Kamers inclusief badkamer schoon. Bij temperaturen 40 graden probleem geen airco op de kamer en lobby. Ontbijt basic en wordt niet automatisch aangevuld, beetje rommelige ruimte.

Ich bin mit dem Zug angereist und besuchte ein Musical, gut daran ist, daß es nur 2 Haltestellen sind, aber wenn ein Gast schon ziemlich spät unterwegs ist, daß doch etwas passieren kann, dann doch lieber mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln fahren.
