Was extremely disappointed in this Hilton property. Hilton typjcally has a standard, and this property doesnt fit that. From the moment we pulled in to the parking area that was filled with a homeless camp and felt unsafe, to the room that shocked us. The lobby is nice, but the room- yuck! The ceiling tiles were barely hanging on, the shower level fell off, toilet paper holder was on the ground, the room smelled musty, the shower floor was nasty and the shower ceiling had myserious peeling all hanging above your head. To say we were disappointed is an understatement!

Overall felt safe. The hotel charge for parking is very rude. Breakfast not included. The hotel needs to clean hallway carpets, smell dusty and dirty. The room needs better cleaning to mirrors and floors. It was evident that cleaning is lacking.
Ceiling tiles open near by TV. The front desk was very quick to give us a better room.

The towels is the room we’re stained not even close to white. I had no floor mat to use after getting out the shower. No soap at all at the sink. It was not up to Hilton standard at all. A late checkin was easy.

Super friendly staff. Great location at downtown Montpelier where you can walk out and walk the shops and restaurants. Very very friendly staff. Was SO DISAPPOINTED that I paid over $500 a night for a very very motel-like room. I had back aches from the bed. For that rate I’d have the Ritz at the ocean. Bummed.

Tiny room w Queen bed and very noisy. Tiny bathroom w very loud industrial toilet. Bed hard as a rock.Desk clerk said because we reserved through Hotels.com. Street on one side and ice machine outside door. Elevator is slow and only holds two people w luggage. Feels run down although they claim was refreshed a few years ago.

Staff was very attentive and hotel is in great shape. $12 nightly parking. Montpelier doesn’t have a huge dining scene or a lot of things to do but we enjoyed the Capital and Braggs Maple Farm.

The staff was outstanding-very helpful and friendly. I believe that the room was over priced for the level of luxury it provided. Hard mattress, too soft pillows, cob web in the bathroom doorway, TV in bedroom too difficult to use. And since it was on main street, it was noisy. Sorry, Hilton, but after coming from other hotels/inns in the area, you have some work to do.
