"The drive into and out of Stewart is incredible. We drove from Anchorage to a southern Oregon and this was my favorite stay as far as the views. The Lodge was very clean, no 5 star hotel but a nice resting stop. We were told to check ourselves in, the key was in the door. So we didn’t see anyone during our stay. We stopped by a little market for breakfast, the sausage pastry didn’t look great but it was delicious, we almost went back for another! Lesson learned, the gas prices are cheaper in Stewart than going south at nearby stations so fill up there!"
