ABSOLUTELY CHARMING! Key West Style Beach Family Only Cottage in Sunset Beach, Treasure Island community.

Unlike having lots of steps or an elevator, walk right in or walk right out to sand and shells. Our beautiful sugar white sand beach is only 100 steps away right across the street and is at the quieter and semi private end of Treasure Island.

Deceivingly and Surprisingly Spacious from the outside!

2 Bedrooms each with their on ensuite full bathrooms, and a 3rd lower bedroom we call the Kiddie Cave, positioned off the kitchen, the kiddie cave has two twin beds, equipped for kids with separate TV, plus 2 piece bathroom on main floor.

Life is good, with a cool refreshing drink in hand you can relax sitting on rocking chairs on the large front yard covered porch with palm leaf ceiling fans or cool down in our private and shaded tropical backyard.

With the beach being only steps across the street the cottage is well situated to maximize your time for relaxing and enjoying the laid back beach community lifestyle. Our old Florida charm cottage built back in 1939, has been completely updated in 2026 with all the modern conveniences while carefully retaining some of its original beach cottage charm. All new sheets, towels, beds, everything.

Fully equipped for the beach, help yourself to our numerous beach toys, coolers, chairs, and beach umbrellas.

Take a 10 min walk to Caddy’s or KaTiki’s popular live music beach bars. There you can grab a Margarita and stroll out, sand in yours toes and watch some of the most spectacular sunsets on the West Coast. They do call it Sunset Beach for good reason.

SPECIAL NOTE: This is a Family Only cottage and not for large groups. We have a NO Parties and a Quiet time policy in between 10 pm and 8 am out of respect for our neighborhood and close by beach neighbors. Max 3 Parking spots. A general 14 day minimum stays is required. We are pet friendly up to two.

Absolutely Wonderful!

The property was exactly what we wanted for a month long stay. The comfort of the cottage was very good. The layout was perfect for two adults and one happy dog (the backyard was fenced in, so Oban had a lot of freedom), and it was also perfect for four adults (master bedroom on 2nd floor with private bathroom and master bedroom on the 1st floor with bathroom) and two toddlers. The kiddie cove was a fun sleeping and playing area for the grandkids. The amenities were well thought out, and the welcome basket was so thoughtful. Besides having goodies for the humans, there was a yummy treat for our dog. Plenty of bathroom towels, sheets, and blankets! The cottage was centrally located to St. Petes & Clearwater...the traffic was a non-issue and made driving a breeze. We also enjoyed the ease of walking 100 steps to the beach to view the magnificent sunsets, while stopping at the playground to let the kiddos have playtime. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!! Thank you so much for the wonderful memories!!

Treasure Island Cottage

Perfect Vacation

House was perfect for our family of 5. Felt much bigger than the square footage. Property management was amazing, couldn't ask for a better host. House had everything we needed for a month long stay. Would highly recommend this property for any beach vacation.

Treasure Island Paradise

We recently stayed for a month (February 2021). From the first inquiry to the moment we shut the door behind us on our last day, our experience was fantastic. The cottage is spacious, clean, charming and fully equipped with everything one needs for a lengthy stay. We felt so comfortable and loved the warmth and wonderful touches from the gift basket upon arrival and the inviting music to the comfort lighting. Fabulous Stay

This property, both inside and out, was perfect for us! We had several days in January and February to enjoy the tropical back yard. On cooler days, the spaciousness of the cottage made it very comfortable for the two of us ....or 4 of us when friends arrived. On several evenings we walked to Sunset Beach to enjoy the spectacular sunsets. And there were lots of days walking the beach, collecting shells and enjoying watching the surfers. The location for some great museums and sight seeing is about as good as it gets! We will be back!

Super nice place

We did not stay at sunset beach, because of an air conditioning problem. But the owners where so kind as to upgrade us to a other location near this one. Of course, the place was literally a paradise, right along the beach. So, if we go back at treasure Island, we are sure to rent with Alen and Kent.

Lifelong memories

We had an amazing stay in Treasure Island. Unfortunately we didn’t get to stay in the cottage due to an unfortunate issue with the A/C unit the week prior. But, Alan and Kent were amazing property managers, and quickly gave us options for another unit to stay in which was gorgeous beyond words. They even refunded our money for 2 days that we were short on our stay which allowed us to find another location for the last two days. It was a little hectic leading up to the vacation, but Kent was around to make sure that we had everything we needed and were pleased with our stay. I would not hesitate to rent another property from Alan and Kent. I could tell they were experienced renters. They were courteous and considerate of their guests. They left clear directions on everything in the house and we enjoyed our welcome basket! We liked the location in Treasure Island. The beach was gorgeous and not at all crowded, water was clear and calm. Plenty of shopping and dining just a walk or short drive. We drove to Busch Gardens and enjoyed the theme park for the day, mini golf, and the Clearwater aquarium and Pier 60. We created lifelong memories this trip and hope to make it back again sometime soon. Thanks to Alan and Kent for being such great hosts!

A touch of Paradise

The cottage is beautiful & quaint and gives a home feeling.. very clean quiet neighborhood.great beach access not overly crowded.. perfect location for a family getaway .. gotta mention beautiful walk down the beach to Caddy’s the Sunsets are amazingly beautiful....highly recommend staying here I know we will definitely be coming back..

Beautiful Beach Location

This was our first experience with VRBO and it was a great! The house was very clean and well maintained. There was attention given by the owners to make sure our stay was a success. Paradise in Treasure Island

Whether it was playing cribbage in the jungle out back, reading on the rocking chairs out front, or watching the sunset daily with the neighbours, we were in a constant state of relaxation. The cottage was beautifully decorated with a complete kitchen equipped with everything you could possibly need. This was our first trip with our baby and we enjoyed every second.

A treasure on Treasure Island

Our stay on Treasure Island was truly magical. Alan and Kent’s home is an oasis with all the personal touches to make your stay memorable. The house is beautiful and the backyard is little garden sanctuary. Prolixity to the beach made trips for supplies easy. Caddy’s on the beach was a great spot for lunch or to catch the beautiful sunsets with a cocktail and some live music. The welcome basket was a wonderful surprise! Paradise

We were so excited when we arrived at the cottage in Treasure Island! It was everything that we hoped it would be! We loved the private backyard space! Beautiful home with a gift basket! Just steps away from the beach! What a perfect location! We felt like we belonged there!We enjoyed the front porch for our morning coffee! Just a quaint cottage with all of the amenities required! We enjoyed grilling our steaks while soaking in the hot tub!! It was a little slice of heaven on earth! We will definitely be back!!:)

Like home, but better!

Sunset beach is a wonderfully quaint place to get away from the cold and dreary weather. This cottage was so close to the beach, incredibly comfortable, spotless and had every conceivable amenity needed. My family had a wonderful time enjoying dinners together on the back patio, destressing in the hot tub, or reading within the house's serene sitting rooms. My children loved the kid's area. Kent was nearby if we needed anything and the neighborhood was a very friendly place to be.

What a perfect cottage! This home was very clean, spacious and beautifully decorated! The cottage supplied everything imaginable including a lovely welcome basket. It was merely steps to a very clean beach! The cart and beach supplies made the beach a perfect place to spend the day! If you need a beach break, the backyard offers a beautiful oasis for relaxing! My family can’t begin to express how wonderful this cottage is! We are already talking about next year’s vacation there! Alan & Kent are excellent hosts!

Charming house and wonderful location.

The cottage is very charming and comfortable. Breathtaking sunsets are just a few steps away on the conveniently located beach. We loved the quiet neighborhood and the close proximity to shopping and restaurants. The back yard was a very quaint tropical oasis and the hot tub was a very nice bonus. Alan and Kent couldn't have been more friendly and cooperative. The welcome gift basket was a nice surprise and it even contained a rubber bone for our Golden Retriever. They thought of everything. We look forward with great anticipation to our next vacation at Sunset Beach Cottage!

Awesome beach retreat

My husband, 3 teenage girls and I all spent February break at the cottage. We had an amazingly relaxing time in no small part due to the cottage. From the welcome basket to the comfy furniture and the kitchen that was stocked with everything we needed to make our own meals, it made us feel right at home. The backyard is like an oasis with a sitting area and hot tub that everyone enjoyed relaxing in after a "long" day being tourists 😉. The family room was a great place for those who wanted to watch their basketball games in the evenings and I was grateful for the front room where I could retreat to read one of the many books I found on a shelf. We could not find one thing we would have changed about the cottage .... it is in a quiet neighborhood right next to a white sand beach that provided us with lots of opportunities to find shells. It made it hard to leave and convinced us we need to return to Florida!

the PERFECT family beach house!!

This home is an absolute GEM! When I first saw photos online I was in love but it's even better in real life. Alan and Kent were exceptional hosts that went above and beyond. The home itself is literally steps away from one of the most beautiful and quiet beaches. Perfect for our young family – the shell collecting and mild waves provided endless entertainment. The cottage is impeccably clean with every detail thought out. The kitchen was awesome with every modern convenience. So many great dining options in the area though, so no need to cook if that’s not your thing! As a designer, I appreciated all of the home’s charming architectural details and beautiful décor. I felt right at home from the moment we walked in the door. The hot tub and backyard were an amazing bonus! Also have to mention the kiddie cave area was great for the kids. I have a 4 year old and almost 2 year old – there is a pack and play if you need it and I loved there was a separate area for the kids to sleep and play. Our week at the cottage was amazing and we made so many wonderful memories with our family. Can’t wait to come back again. Thank you Alan and Kent for a wonderful stay! Oh and you can't miss the SUNSETS on Sunset Beach!
