We stayed here for Valentine’s Day and it’s a really nice retreat whether you’re coming in from out of town or just looking for a charming city getaway! Breakfast was amazing and Dan is an excellent host! I highly recommend staying here! The room was very comfortable and I loved the historic charm of the house and location next to the park.

Dan was a fantastic host as well as being a very kind person! Rosie, the cohost, might be somewhat intimadating at first glance for some, but she is a very sweet character when you get to know her. Breakfast was made with love by Dan and the whole house is tastefully original as was my room. The area itself is very inviting and parking is absolutely no problem. A stay that will always be positively remembered.

Dan was a fabulous host, staying in contact before hand, greeting us at the door (with sweet Rosie), helping these weary travelers find a nearby dinner spot, and making sure we were comfortable. His homemade breakfast was delicious. Our bedroom was spacious and clean; an antique bed was comfortable. Easy parking. While on a busy street, things were pretty quiet at night. Benton Park across the street is a great place to take a walk. Will stay here again.
