This is a beautiful character manor with charming period furnishings. The staff were so helpful with my requests. The full Breakfast was fresh, delicious and served in a large dining room where we could interact with other guests. I would definitely recommend this place to others.

Highly recommend, very quaint hotel, comfortable bed, excellent breakfast and wonderful service. The only reason I gave 4 stars was because I booked a suite and they changed my room to an inside smaller room and the hotel would not refund the difference in price.

Treat yourself to this impressive hotel

We spent two nights at this beautiful boutique bed-and-breakfast. Each suite has its own character, we chose the Parker suite and enjoyed a very comfortable four poster bed, large tub, and comfortable seating area. The bathroom was very small and the lighting was poor for doing make up, and if you need to work, the desk space is not ideal, thankfully we had very little work to do while we were in St. John’s. While we were staying there, we did need some papers printed and the front desk staff. We’re very happy to help us. The hot breakfast was delicious, fresh coffee, eggs, and sausage one morning and French toast the next. Staff is happy to bring breakfast to your suite should you prefer however it is nice sitting with a group of other travellers and hearing about their journeys around a large dining table. We would absolutely choose to stay at this hotel again

Leaside Manor is a beautiful home with lovely staff. Our room was comfortable and the breakfast was great. (If you’re tall, or have any mobility issues at all, make sure you’re staying on the first floor, not upstairs (steep, narrow staircase + sloping ceilings), plus know that it’s a hike up a steep driveway to get to the door from the parking area.) Other than that, it’s terrific!
