Room was nice and clean. Very comfortable. The “panoramic” harbour view is 100% not worth the extra $ over regular harbour view room. And even less so, if you get put on the second floor. The bar has a great atmosphere but the drinks are very over rated. 2 white wine, a very basic Old fashioned and one can beer was almost $80 with tip.

I lived in NL 4 years ago and never had a reason to stay there, but always wanted to. We had a mini vacation in St. Johns and stayed at The Alt. It was fantastic! I highly recommend!
