Step into a slice of St. Augustine's storied past on one of the city's most beautiful tree-lined streets. This restored 1922 duplex on Cordova Street places you right in the heart of historic downtown, where cobblestone lanes, centuries-old landmarks, and some of the best dining and shopping in northeast Florida are all within easy walking distance. Four bedrooms, two fully equipped kitchens, and two private levels mean everyone in your group has room to spread out and settle in. Sorry, no pets.
 
The layout
Rented as an entire property, this two-story duplex offers a separate downstairs unit and a separate upstairs unit - they do not connect inside, giving each level its own front door, private entrance, and sense of independence. Each unit holds two queen bedrooms and one full bathroom, making the home a natural fit for two families traveling together or a larger group that appreciates a little breathing room. A pack 'n play is available for guests traveling with young children.
 
Living spaces
Each level's open-concept living area is bright and comfortable, with flat-screen HDTV, ceiling fans, and natural light that plays up the home's original character. A dedicated workspace on each floor means remote workers can stay productive without giving up the charm of a historic setting. Central air conditioning keeps things cool through Florida's warmer months.
 
Kitchens & dining
Both units come with a fully equipped kitchen - refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, and a complete set of dishes and silverware. Cooking basics are on hand, and a dining table in each unit means sit-down meals are always an option, whether it's a quick breakfast before heading out to the Castillo or a full group dinner after a day exploring the city.
 
Sleeping arrangements
Each of the four bedrooms is furnished with a queen-size bed, high-quality linens, hangers, and ample clothing storage - four queens across the property in total. The pack 'n play is available on request for younger guests.
 
Bathrooms
Each unit has one full bathroom equipped with a bathtub, hair dryer, body soap, and hot water. Towels, bed sheets, and toilet paper are provided. Note that there is no carbon monoxide detector on the property, and shampoo is not provided.
 
Outdoor spaces
Both levels open onto their own front porch - the lower porch features swing chairs ideal for catching the evening breeze, while the upper porch offers relaxed seating for quiet conversation or a good book. When you rent the full property, the backyard becomes entirely private: pull up an Adirondack chair, fire up the BBQ grill with barbecue utensils provided, and enjoy an evening outside. Note that there is no fire pit or fire table on the property. Each unit also has its own washer and dryer, located outside on the back porch.
 
Getting around
Free parking on premises means you never have to circle the block. Self check-in via keypad makes arrival simple any time of day. From the front door, you're steps from the Castillo de San Marcos, boutique shops, art galleries, and some of the city's most celebrated restaurants - everything that makes St. Augustine one of Florida's most compelling destinations is right outside.

We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely rent this property again. The location was within walking distant to the "hub". The layout of the units worked perfectly for our family. My parents and one of my kids stayed in the downstairs unit while my husband, our other three kids, and I stayed upstairs. Each evening, we gathered downstairs to relax together, which made the space feel even more connected.We also enjoyed the firepit out back, which was a great bonus. Having a washer and dryer was incredibly helpful, especially after a rainy day left us with wet clothes. The kitchen was well‑stocked and had everything we needed for meals.A few suggestions that would make this a 5‑star stay:1. Larger bath towels, plus a few extra towels for guests who prefer separate hair and bath towels.2. Additional toilet paper and paper towels, or a clear note ahead of time that guests should bring their own. We arrived to less than a full roll of toilet paper, which wasn’t enough for a four‑night stay.3. A welcome binder in each unit with information on where to find extra linens and supplies, trash and recycling instructions, the nearest store, local coupons, and recommended restaurants or activities. Departure instructions, should we strip the beds and leave all dirty linens in a pile, can we leave the dishwasher running.Overall, we truly enjoyed our time here.
