Great hotel to be closer to the attractions but if you are looking for a quiet place I do not recommend it. You hear loud music and people shouting drunk and talking all night. Restaurants are overcrowded on a weekend you will expect to wait an hour for service. Stores are very close to walk and do shopping. Friendly front desk staff and the guy at the parking very helpful.

We loved the location of this hotel! It was incredibly convenient. The parking price is a little steep. I will warn, we stayed on the backside of the hotel on a Saturday night so the bars behind the hotel were going until like 2AM. They do provide complimentary earplugs though!

The motel is in an excellent location adjacent to the St Augustine historical district. Everything is walking distance. The staff was friendly and professional and the room was well appointed and very clean.

The location of this property is everything! The staff were all super friendly. Room was clean and comfortable. We visit St. Augustine every year, this was the first time stay at the Best Western. This hotel will be our go to every year. In walking distance to everything in downtown historic St. Augustine, across the street from the Bay, driving distance from the beach, the location is absolutely perfect.

Don’t bother staying here

I was very disappointed. This motel used to be amazing but since the name change there is no continental breakfast. There’s no free waters. There’s absolutely no incentives for any guest anymore.the price on this place is always higher than even the Hilton next door. So upon arrival I waited 30 min to check in very slow counter lady and when I got to my room it felt hot. The a/c situation is not ideal with zero upgrades to make the rooms feel cold . Very old units .we had the front door leaking in the hot air so we moved rooms. Upon getting into the new room the ac was worse room was hot and it smelled like cigarette smoke bad bad so we tried another room on the 2nd floor and hear rises so the room was to hot . We gave up and went to a motel across from the old Santa Maria and that place was great and way cheaper with Continental, breakfast, free water, free cookies, friendly staff. But another reason why I left was in the rooms on the ground floor ppl are sitting out side the rooms smoking non stop and I could not get away from the smell . It’s like a trashy corner . So I would rather the motel not allow smoking at the pool area and make ppl walk to the rd so we all don’t suffer smelling it . So this place definitely is taking a dive in the wrong direction
