The room had a 7 star review on hotels.com but I found that be inaccurate. The room had a horrible odor, the toilet wouldn’t flush, the kitchen stove had grease all over it, the other guests decided to throw a party outside with loud music and in the middle of the night the smoke alarm started chirping because of a dead battery.

The housekeeping staff and front desk personnel was very friendly and pleasant. The outside door on the room was hard to open as it was stuck shut. I had trouble getting the door unlocked and the deadbolt lock on the inside door did not work. The room had a nice snack room with a frig, microwave and cooking surface! The thing I did not like was the toilet was constantly running and after I reported this, it was not fixed.

This hotel is convenient for a one-night stay and is very close to the port. However, the property is in need of major upgrades. Our bathtub was peeling and the ottoman had stains on it. Thankfully, we had shower shoes—otherwise we wouldn’t have felt comfortable showering before our cruise. That said, the staff was very friendly, and the room overall was clean. With some renovations and updated fixtures, this place could be a much better stay.

avoid at allllllllllllllllllllllllllll costs. we tried to book the room for another night and the hotel owners said it was 124 a night PLUS a 100 deposit. We booked a TWO ROOM SUITE across the street at the Cocoa Beach Suites for 100 per night and watched the liftoff from our room. Econo Lodge is a DUMP !
