Room was lovely and spacious with a fireplace. Staff pleasant and helpful. Had a bath tub which I appreciated as most hotels seem to be changing to showers only. Highly recommend if travelling in the area. Would be a lovely place for a special event.

This is a family business and they were extremely kind friendly and helpful.. the property is beautiful... There is a pool and gardens and a wonderful restaurant. The walk to the beach is 7-9 minutes, but there is a place to park if you drive down, then a long set of stairs down to the lake. Definitely a must do!

We only stayed for one night the rooms are very 80’s average. Some black mold in the bathroom corners. Dated is okay if you wow your guests with cleanliness. The restaurant served up a very authentic German selection on the dinner menu. It was prepared well and was delicious.

I had a wonderful stay, it was just at the beginning of the season so it was very quiet which was what I was looking for. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff at the front desk were very helpful! The walk to the lake, and then along the shore, was a perfect start to the day. The bottle of wine I had sent to my room was terrific and the charcuterie box I had from the restaurant was absolutely delicious. Sitting in the sunroom with a glass of wine and a book was the perfect getaway.

Hotel is basically a very slightly nicer Super 8 Motel. Room is okay. Major irritant was very thin walls between rooms, so be prepared to listen to the guy snoring in the next room. Minor irritants were very noisy bathroom fan, dead bugs in water glasses, leaf blower or similar machine outside room at 0845 in the morning, no staff on after 2030, no vending machines to buy drinks or snacks, no microwave, no coffeemaker but a kettle with pour over pouches. Staff in the morning were pleasant and helpful. Price was good for the area. Grounds are nice.
