Staff are very welcoming and will help as much as they can, to make sure your stay is good, the rooms are clean and fresh, the bar and dining areas are clean, and the pool table is a great added extra to this B&B. Like most old buildings there is always something that needs doing, if you look for it, but overall the property is in good character. We stayed for 1 night for a business trip, but would stay for more nights as the feeling of the place is very good, and this is down to the staff, Peter is a excellent host and will do his best to make your stay as comfortable as possible, and Michael is very pleasant and will help you just as much, we can not comment on all the staff as we only meet 1 more staff member that served our breakfast (sorry cant remember her name) but was very pleasent and helped when needed.

Such a cute place to stay for a quick getaway! Staff very attentive and friendly. Only the mattress being a bit stiff,( we just put a blanket under to soften) and all good.

Nice couple of nights, we didn’t really use any facilities. Hotel was very clean and comfortable. If I’m being picky my wife would have like a hair dryer and we could have used a fan being summer. Guy in reception was very friendly. Would definitely use again if in the area

Almost forgot that service like this existed. We were greeted by Paul who checked us in, showed us to our room, pointed out the amenities and said that if we needed anything, to let him know.

The staff were amazing and very accomodating. Breakfast was also very good. Unfortunately we could not sleep due to the road noise. But we are very light sleepers, so if you sleep well and are not troubled by road noise please don’t let that put you off.

Excellent friendly hotel

Very welcoming Michael on reception was very friendly and knowledgeable and CJ was very helpful as we were on a motorcycle and had 2 panniers and a top box to take upstairs to our room CJ kindly offered to take the 2 panniers to our room and that is now a rarity now a days for any hotel so good on ya
