It could be a lovely hotel, but with the recent hot summer weather the room was like an oven. Staff are helpful, it is clean, parking is plentiful and the outside seating area is pleasant, On cooler days it would no doubt be a nice place to stay.

The stay was lovely. We ended up checking in very late as we came straight from a performance and CJ was so helpful and stayed 2 hours later thanks he was meant to let us in. Extremely accommodating!

Fantastic location with loads of parking. Staff were friendly. Rooms were huge with comfy beds and (once you’ve worked it out) good showers. We stayed in the heat wave and the rooms needed fans (on order by the hotel) and windows were tethered so wouldn’t fully open. Would happily stay again.

From the outside it doesn’t look very inviting, but inside very clean, brooms clean, I had one night for business travel which was adequate for me only down side no on site restaurant , but there is a very good pub for food 10 minutes walk away , plenty of parking and good breakfast in the morning

We had 2 nights stay at the Royal Swan. We had a great welcome at check in and the room was spacious with a good bathroom. It wad very hot while we were there and we would have been grateful for aircon or even a fan. However it was really good value for money.
