The cape cod getaway house is situated in a quiet area approx. .4 miles to south shore beaches, playground for the kids, fishing, boating , jet skiing, parasailing etc. there is a brick patio with an enclosed gazebo, and dining table that seats 6, gas grill, outdoor shower, and a firepit to cook smores with the kids, the house has 2 bedrooms one has a queen size bed, the other has 2 twin beds, one tile bath with tub/shower. the living room has a pull out couch, recliner, 40'' flat screen tv , fireplace, and window ac unit.
the kitchen area has a gas stove, microwave oven coffeemaker, all cooking utensils, and dining table. guest provide towels and linens as well as your beach needs.
Make yourself comfortable in this air-conditioned vacation home, which features a fireplace and a flat-screen TV. There's a private furnished patio. A kitchen is outfitted with a refrigerator, an oven, and a stovetop. Conveniences include a microwave and a coffee/tea maker.

This place was exactly what we were looking for. We wanted a place to stay that fit within our budget (single mom with two kids), let my kids not share a bed, and still provide us easy access to all the Cape Cod beaches and activities we wanted. We brought bikes (highly recommend) and found we could hike to one beach in five minutes and another in ten. If I wanted more exercise, I could bike all the way out to West Dennis beach too - all on quiet roads! All the beaches were free bike access as well, so added bonus! As a family we could bike to two ice cream places, several restaurants, and two mini golf places, one of which has go-karts for an added bonus. The neighborhood was extremely kid and bike friendly, so much so that when my son crashed his bike trying to ride no-handed, neighbors immediately came out to make sure he was ok. The host was always available and quick to respond to all questions.

Great Cape Getaway

Cozy home minutes from beaches

My family and I enjoyed our stay at this property. Amenities were as listed and we were able to drive to a nearby beach in just a couple minutes. We liked the outdoor area equipped with the gas grill. Would have been a 5-star review but there were quite a few ants and other bugs that kept appearing in the kitchen area.

Clean house. Great neighborhood. Easy check in. Jim was very responsive. Great shower. Had everything we needed. As described. Nearest laundromat is 5 miles away I believe. Would stay again.

Ants in the kitchen, bathroom and 1bedroom.No toilet paper. Some windows needed a prop to stay open. Outlets had power cords and were not very accessible. Basic low end cable ie.no MSNBC ,weather channel ESPN. No place to hang wet towels/washcloths. Shower should have a grab bar. Remove laundry from list of amenities. This house was not worth anywhere near 1700. We feel that we were taken on that price. Finally we left a day early because we were not comfortable here

Perfectly small quaint cottage in a great quiet neighborhood convenient to everything. Perfect for 1-4 people. Kitchen had everything needed but also close to so many good restaurants. The amount of beaches on the sound and bay at all 3-15 minute drives are seemingly endless. Lots to explore. Mattresses definitely updated and firm and comfortable. No washer/dryer so bring own linens and towels but very small concession to make. Host very responsive and helpful. Very positive experience.

Perfect launching point for family of 4

We stayed during late August, when the waters were warm at the many close beaches. This would be a great stay also in Spring and Fall thanks to the fire pit, biking trails, and surrounding activities. We loved our time, and our very thankful for the experience.

A Beautiful week at the Cape!

We loved our week here. The house was very clean and comfortable. The backyard was a huge hit with both parents and kids. Communication with the owner was prompt and friendly. Highly recommend- hope to be back!

Pleasant Week

The property was as advertised. It was clean and well equipped. Everything worked properly. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood and is just a short distance to shopping, restaurants and beaches. I had a very relaxing week and hope to repeat my stay next year.

Perfect place!

This charming 2 bedroom was the perfect place for our family of 5! It was clean, comfy, and the walk to the beach was not too far for the little ones. The outdoor shower was wonderful upon our return from the beach. We loved using the outdoor patio as well. It was located in a beautiful neighborhood with friendly neighbors. We look forward to staying here again. Thanks for the wonderful hospitality!

Beautiful Cape Cod home

This property is quite and convenient all in one. Located two or three streets behind the main rt 28 where all the businesses are located. Perfect location on the cape so you are not far from anywhere. The house is perfect for a small family even with small children. Hope to rent again!

Fantastic family vacation.

This was a fantastic location to go on day trips with our family. This was a cozy home that obviously has a lot of family memories. We cooked out in the back yard, the outdoor shower was a great amenity and the surfing was awesome. We definitely will be back!
