I have been staying at the Holiday Inn for years all over my travels, yet this one was unexpectedly disappointing in three areas, first, the bathroom is so tiny... door can barely be opened; then the room size was not bad, but there was no credenza, no baggage table. So, it was very uncomfortable to manage my family baggage without these elements. And the most upsetting one, the dining room services is extremely slow (not matter at what time), it didn't matter if it was full or just a few tables, the service was very slow, the food was not testy and none of that aligns with the very high prices.

The floor would not stop being wet I don't know if water was coming up from under the baseboards or something wrong with the air conditioner the refrigerator didn't work the phone didn't work when they finally did you come and change the phone if you called to ask for anything no one would have bothered to answer and the refrigerator will quit working again for the second time fix your refrigerator and shortly after you left maybe 10 minutes he quit working again everything in the room was continuously wet from humidity

Our room was clean, but the bathroom was very tiny and you had to step all the way in to shut the door to use the bathroom. First, the building for ocean view rooms is in another building that is at least 500 yards from the parking lot which makes taking your luggage a real pain. Second, NONE of the ice machines worked in our building on any floor. Tried one ice machine in main building and it didn't work. When front desk was told, their response was just get it from the bar. Uh no, I don't want to walk to the main building for ice. Third, our first two nights the floor sweated so bad that it was wet and gross. The third night, the maintenance guys noticed the floor and switched us to a room down stairs. Two of the three pools were dirty. I understand it is off season, but they still need to be kept up.

Front desk staff was not really helpful with the check in process. I was already given parking ticket and wristbands just waiting on a room to become available coz it was 3:59pm and check in is 4pm. While waiting to be called I noticed that they were giving rooms to people already. I asked at the side when are they gonna tell/call us to give us the room. The staff said she’s gonna check in everybody first. I was wondering “how about us?” I didn’t understand their check in process. It seems like we have to be in line again to be checked in. I was so mad.

Very Nice it was clean. Beautiful area. Our room was good size.Everyone was very polite. The only thing that it was a little loud. If you can sleep with loud music great. They turn off the music until 11:00 pm.

Horrible experience

Terrible experience! The hotel is old, rooms have lot of humidity, the A/C was leaking the whole time, bathrooms are extremely small and not safe. The fire alarm was activated by mistake, and the horrible noise scared my baby, he cried for like an hour because of this. You can hear what happens in the room next to you, our first night the TV in the room next door was on and extremely load, it was on from the moment we arrived (7pm) till 2am! We complained in the front desk and the room was empty! Someone left the tv on using a very high volume. We had to enter the room and turn off the tv, since the hotel personal couldn't do it. Cockroaches in the room and bugs in the pool, I left the pool with 5 bugs in my back. Never staying here again.

Proximity to beach is great. Our room was not clean, stains on the bed cover, sink didn't drain, shower caulk was moldy. The door to the bathroom didn't close because the bottom had swollen from water damage. Was not provided any instructions at check in, restaurant hours, beach access or even wi fi. Had to keep calling down to find out. The phone was not picked up most of the time.
