The hotel is just a little neglected in need some TLC. The workers are very nice but the hotel is kind of dingy and the first room that we had it smelled like someone had just smoked a pack of cigarettes.

Well it was a place to stay. Was it cleanish? Yes. Just run down and not the greatest curb appeal. Room had some random stains/spots, walls had holes in it around the sprinkler system, water damage in the bathrooms and spots on the sheets. No signs of bedbugs so that was a plus.

The pool was out of commission which we knew ahead of time and was no big deal. A little farther off the freeway than we wanted but not bad. The elevator was tiny and the walls in our room were thin. Breakfast was about what you would expect at this price point. All in all not a bad experience. I felt safe in the neighborhood.

The staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was dirty, sheets were stained, and the place smelled of smoke even though a non-smoking room. The building itself was in disrepair and needed a lot of work. I have stayed at many Comfort Inn & Suites. This was not one I will recommend.
