The staff is very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed the big shady area (palm trees)at the beach. The buffet is huge and the food is really good. The “coffee shop” has good iced coffees. The Italian and the Indian restaurants are delicious!! We loved that the resort was covered with beautiful trees and bushes. Great resort!!!!!

First time staying at Sandos Playacar, definitely would come back. Resort was beautiful, beach was great. The girls at the Guest Experience (especially Zyanya) were amazing. They helped us book all dinner reservations while we waited for room to be ready. Also helped us to upgrade our room from a Family Junior Suite to an Adults Only Select room as these were closer to the beach and adult pool. The food was delicious, definitely recommend El Gaucho Steakhouse

The beach was clean and well provided with lounge chairs and activities for those who want them such as volleyball and water sports. The resort was clean and the pools were nice. However, we learned there are tiers to what is accessible. They have a few higher tier areas that weren’t available to us. The restaurants had a good variety of foods. The El Gaucho steak house was amazing.
