We got there and they had no reservation for us and then try to put us in a room with no windows and a double bed when we booked a king bed and we end up having to pay 750 extra dollars to keep our room the room that we reserved

The resort's Santorini-like exterior is stunning. While visiting in January meant the beachfront was closed due to high tides, a pleasant, few-minute walk just outside the property led us to a beautiful, accessible shoreline. It was also incredibly convenient for souvenir shopping, with a strip of stalls literally just one block away. As Playa del Carmen is known for its vibrant nightlife, expect some energetic atmosphere. One night, I went to bed and woke up to music from the bar nearby, great if you're in the mood for it, but light sleepers may want to pack earplugs or request a quieter room. For an all-inclusive, note that premium-brand alcohol is an extra charge. The true highlight was the exceptional staff and their fun, scheduled activities. The doorman was always welcoming, and activity hosts Carlos and David were fantastic entertainers who made our trip a great experience! We loved the mezcalita class, foam party, and karaoke night. The buffet food was genuinely good, but the standout was the on-site Mexican restaurant, Zarape—the best food of the trip, served by the wonderful and fun server, Julius. The guest demographic skewed a bit older. We had a wonderful time and would recommend it!

Resort is gorgeous. The afternoon activities offered are plenty fun. The food was excellent. The staff were very professional and polite. The side of the resort we stayed on didn’t have direct beach access so we spend most of our time at the main pool. The bars and night markets around the area are a great way to spend your evenings if you care to explore off the resort.

The hotel is enormous, with spacious and truly luxurious rooms. There are two main restaurants and the food is very good. The beach right in front is rocky, so no swimming there — but if you walk just two minutes to the left, you’ll find the calmest, most swimmable ocean waters, right in front of Mamitas. What really sets this place apart, though, is the staff. It was my 45th birthday, and they absolutely made my week. Extremely generous, attentive, and genuinely caring — I couldn’t be happier. A birthday to remember. 💖✨

Great room and location with private pool and bar. Loved the amenities and better all-inclusive hotel than other all-inclusive resorts near by. Absolutely returning to this hotel. Great buffer for all three meals. Staff is super friendly and go out of your way to make our stay the best.

Dirty, smelly, rude aggressive staff members. Don’t service you, room service tried to steal from us. Staff uneducated and zero respect for patrons. Awful food, and boring resort. No pool loungers ever unless you wake up on the crack of dawn and when you ask staff for help they ignore you. Buffet is disgusting, Cuba level if not worse. Go somewhere else. No beach access either and the pool is freezing.
