It was terrible!

We got moved from our original booking due to HVAC issues. From there it went from bad to worse. The only saving grace was that the property was very clean. Vacasa was not helpful in resolving issue that arose with the property and they refused to discuss any compensation reimbursement related to the issues that we had to deal with our entire stay.

September getaway

Air conditioner was broke when we got there on Saturday. I notified Vacasa later Saturday night. They sent instruction for us to check the batteries in the thermostat and replace if needed. Also told us to check the breaker. That was not our responsibility! Luckily my husband knows maintenance and checked everything. Still didn’t work. On Sunday we were told no one could come out until Monday. The guy came around 2:00 p.m. my husband looked at unit with him. It was very obvious the condensing unit was completely rusted out and could not have worked for a while. It was Tuesday morning around 10:00 am that I reached out again to see what they were going to do. They finally said we could leave and they would refund remainder of trip or we could move to st. Regis. We had to pack up everything, load the car and move. St Regis was great. We feel we should be reimbursed for Saturday, Sunday and Monday since we couldn’t enjoy our stay until we moved. We do not believe that no one had notified anyone of the lack of AC. There were 2 stand alone fans in the condo when we got there.

Dilapidated and dirty

Bathrooms need deep cleaning and condo overall is in need of repairs. Second bedroom has ants and my son was bitten in his sleep. Showers and sinks didn't drain properly. Bathroom exhaust fan doesn't work. Soft spots in the floors. Something crusty amd disgusting on the underside of master br comforter. Wifi doesn't work. AC quit working this morning, luckily we were leaving.

Location was good but the facility/ condo was sub par. Many things broken (couch, dishwasher, dryer, fan hanging off, curtain rod about to fall off, etc). It was fine...but the facility needs to be updated or at least let people know these things are broken.

Unit needs some TLC

Check in process was fine. Unit location was great. The unit itself is in a bit of disrepair. The floor in both bathrooms has soft spots, one of the kitchen chairs collapsed while I was sitting on it. It was obvious the chair had broken in the past and someone tried fixing it. The wallpaper is peeling and the toilet paper and towel racks are coming out of the walls.

Clean, Basic Unit

Clean, basic unit suitable for a single or couple plus a bunk bed for 1 or 2 children. On the plus side, it's on the first floor, you can see the ocean from the balcony and access, the beach is convenient & a pretty short walk, and the kitchen has a Keurig coffee machine. The unit would be improved with a more comfortable sofa and the addition of an air fryer for the kitchen. Also the TV is tiny—maybe 20" or 24"? Shortcomings would include a wobbly, tiny living room fan and a non-working bathtub; and even though this was reported the first day, no one ever came by to fix it and there was no customer service follow up.
