Rys and Shine” beach house is the perfect choice for a family vacation, with 6 BEDROOMS, 4.5 BATHS, ELEVATOR, POOL, HOT TUB, and spacious enough for 13. Enjoy your coffee and see the ocean from any of our three ocean facing decks (two of them privately attached to King, Master BR Suites). Or take in the sunset from one of the three sound view decks.

Watch the kids play on the BEACH, just a quick 90 steps away from the front door. Or splash in the oceanfront community POOL, reserved just for Villas By The Sea residents and guests.

When you arrive, our parking easily fits 6 cars, with two inside a large garage - still leaving plenty of room to store beach/pool gear. Use our 4-floors ELEVATOR to effortlessly unload your luggage and groceries and settle into one of the 6 bedrooms.

You'll be delighted by the high quality construction details in our home - not frequently found in rental properties. 9 foot ceilings, granite countertops throughout, new, stainless steel appliances, an open top floor layout that seamlessly flows from the kitchen to the dining area (with seating for 8), to the large living room, leading to a spacious deck with a HOT TUB - and great ocean views.

• Watch your kids play in the surf or pool, fish right from the beach, take a quick stroll to the Seaview Fishing Pier (0.3 miles). If you feel strong, go on walking/running for miles to the end of the island, or just relax on the beach, tuning in to the sound of the waves, with the assurance that your clean, comfortable, safe and spacious lodging is just steps away.

• Set your kids (or go yourself) on a scavenger hunt for fossilized shark teeth, or unique shells.

• Enjoy being together, grilling and cooking large meals in our spacious kitchen. Or walk over to Splash by the Sea, a great oceanfront restaurant, just steps away next door in the Villa Capriani complex.

Location and access to the beach and pool without the need of a wagon . Adults and kids had plenty of space between all rooms and balconies. Pier access., so close one of our guests went out and purchased fishing gear ( and caught something)Everything we needed was there. Heather, the property manager was totally awesome. Villa-rific!

Delightful stay at Rys and Shine! Neighborhood was easy to get to and from, quiet, and had everything we needed. Excellent bedroom/bathroom set up on every floor. Decks were clean, just the right amount of tables and chairs, and well maintained. We were pleased with the kitchen supplies and could have family over from a neighboring unit with plenty of plates and cups for the whole crew, no matter the meal. We had a great time and were sad to leave such a beautiful place!

Our best family vacation to date!

We travel to different beaches every year. Everyone in the group said this was the best one yet! The home was perfect for our three families. The home was clean and the linen service was a good perk. We loved the views and the convenience of the beach and pool. Heather was always available to answer any questions but we really didn’t have many because she her proactive communication was on point! Everyone in the Villas was friendly. We will definitely visit again.

Fun Family Vacay

We were extremely pleased with our trip. I have never stayed at a property that was so well equipped from the linens to the kitchen. The kitchen was so organized that it was easy to work in it and put things back in place easily. Everything for this property was A. The location was also great. Short walk to the pool and beach. We had a wonderful time at Rys and Shine, the house was beautiful, clean and the furniture was comfortable and more importantly the beds and bedding were great. Great beach house!

Gorgeous duplex with ocean views and a very short walk to the beach. House is tastefully decorated with beach accents and neutral colors. Check-in/ check-out was easy as it’s just a door code. We loved that the towels and sheets were included. They arrive in a bin and then you put the sheets on and distribute the towels to the bathrooms. The bedrooms have plenty of dressers and closet space to store your clothes. The kids loved the game room and the adults enjoyed the open space on the top level of the house. The elevator is very helpful for bringing up groceries and bringing down the trash. Area under the house is a secured garage, so you can drop you beach stuff there and know it is safe. Outdoor shower is not enclosed - the hose is a better option for rinsing off the sand. The owner is friendly, professional and responsive.

This house has it all!

First I’ll start by saying, I rarely take the time to write a review but do so when I’m really impressed with something, and this house was impressive! The owners have thought of everything which made our stay super enjoyable and stress free. We loved that the house rules required shoes off inside because we have little ones who still crawl and play on the floor, and it was nice to know that the floors were clean. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed including toddler forks, spoons, plates, cups, and bowls. This house also has an actual garage (not just a carport) which was really convenient when bringing beach toys and chairs in because we could leave it all downstairs safely stored. The garage was also stocked with 6 adult beach chairs and two kid beach chairs which meant one less thing we had to pack! The house is in a small cluster of houses so the beach wasn’t crowded at all - even on the Fourth of July. The house is technically “second row” but is directly across from the boardwalk to the beach so we could walk back and forth from the beach in less than 100 steps, and we could see our beach tent from the house which made it feel more like first row/beachfront. Highly recommended! We're already talking about booking again.

Easy beach access, lots of space

We stayed at Ry’s and Shine in mid July, and it was just what we needed! First let me say that Heather was extremely responsive to anything we asked, and we appreciated that. Sunday to Sunday rental means that you have the complex basically to yourself for most of the day on Saturday! -Space: The 6 of us had lots of space in the 5 bedrooms and bathrooms and in the spacious kitchen. Very pretty! Lots of stairs—we liked the workout, but know that the elevator is slow if you expect to be using it frequently. There is more furniture needed on several of the porches for them to be usable. There are tons of soft blankets, which made us all happy! -Kitchen: Great pots and pans and plastic storage. You will need to bring everything else, including salt and pepper. Needs potholders/oven mitts and better silverware. -Location in the complex: We could see if people were already in the pool (COVID restrictions of 8 in the pool, 20 total including on the deck, which was overall not an issue) and we could make sure that the kids got safely into the house from the pool. Great beach views for a second row home! -Beach: Access is easy. The sand is very soft and the waves were perfect for tweens on their boogie boards (we bought our own). The beach chairs were super. Nice to leave everything in the garage and hang up towels on the clothesline inside. -Food access: there isn’t much directly there, but the kids LOVED the takeout Cookie Skillet that we got from Splash by the Sea (hotel is basically next door. Seems to be undergoing renovations and didn’t have many guests but the restaurant was super popular). Papa John’s pizza delivery was quick. We picked up takeout from a Chinese and sushi place that was probably 10 minutes away. I would not recommend trying to get any food at the fishing pier.

Relaxing stay

Rys and Shine was in a great location, with only a short walk to the ocean! It was our first time visiting Topsail and we found it to be low key and very relaxing. We stayed late on the beach several evenings and because the house had most everything we needed to cook our meals in, it was nice to take advantage of the extra beach time and not have to rush in and get ready to go out every night. The house was set up well, the beds were comfortable, and the rooms were decorated nicely but not overdone. The owner was very helpful and the checkin process was great! We didn’t take advantage of the pool much because we love the ocean, but if you are a pool person it was a nice area and it didn’t seem to be overly crowded when I passed by on the way to the beach Nice little community!

We had a great time staying at Rhys and Shine! We have been to many places in Topsail, and this was our favorite! The house was clean, host was super responsive to questions, location is great (short walk to the beach and pool), and the elevator was super helpful for getting luggage upstairs and for our older family members. I highly recommend staying here!

Enjoyed the Villas at North Topsail

The rental process went without a hitch. My wife two daughters, their husbands and our 3 grandchildren all loved the place. Although it wasn’t ocean from it was close the beach and the pool that the kids loved. We’ve stayed in Surf City previously and missed the closeness of a few of the available amenities and businesses but we made do. All in all it was a great week. My only issue is that “I” had to pay for it. I thought the price wa a little much for the property not being ocean front but I’ve been told I’ll be paying for it again next year!!😭😍

Friends & Family Vacation - July 10-17, 2021

As a party of 15, we had a GREAT time! The property was perfect - the bedroom arrangements worked out great. Enough restrooms for each family with the powder room on the 3rd floor, was a bonus. Having a garage helped a lot with all of the beach stuff ~ chairs, sand toys, tent and cart...we were able to rinse everything off and letting them dry in the garage. We also set-up cornhole in the garage...giving us additional space. The hot tub was used by the four kids (two10 year old and two14 year old) ~ they loved it! The 3rd floor balcony (facing the ocean) was everyone's favorite spot in the morning. We always had a good breeze. The villas was decorated so CUTE and had everything you needed in the kitchen. We struggled a little with the keyless door but by mid-week everyone knew the phone number by heart. Heather the owner, was super easy to work with. Give us great detailed information about the Villas and additional suggestion on places to eat. Highly recommend this Villas!!

Wonderful family beach vacation

We had a wonderful time staying at Ry’s and shine for the week. The house was clean, well taken care of, beautifully decorated, and best of all it was steps from the beach. We loved the convenience of coming and going to the beach throughout the day and enjoyed the ease of the pool for a quick cool off as well. The beach was beautiful, water was warm, and sand was soft. We had a wonderful week at the beach. Very close to the beach and pool. Kitchen was well stocked. Check in was easy. Owner very easy to contact and helpful.
