Enjoy the magnificent ocean views from practically every room in the house. Catch some rays on one of the four decks of this three-story home, or take a soothing soak in the hot tub overlooking the waves breaking on the shore. This home features two primary suites with large jacuzzi tubs, separate double-headed showers, TVs, and views of the ocean and the Intracoastal Waterway. Three guest bedrooms also have jetted tubs.

The living room includes a 50-inch plasma TV with surround sound and a six-disc DVD player. The kitchen has granite countertops, custom cabinets, an ice maker, a wine cooler, elevator access to all floors, and the latest in stainless steel appliances.

This rental experience was a nightmare. First we show up to dead roaches in many rooms. None of the alternative houses offered as a replacement had the same features we rented the place for. Then we were told staying wasn’t an option either as the deck wasn’t safe, a fact they failed to mention before we checked in.

The home “could” have been spectacular. Great layout, great beach but there are just enough little things that prevent it from getting there. Knobs missing from tubs, door hanging off trash bin cabinet, loose back on counter stool, lights hanging off, refrigerator bin drawers hanging off or missing, outdoor shower was inoperable and the furniture could definitely use a refresh. Pluses were like I said layout, beach, beds were super comfortable, plenty of kitchen equipment, ample deck furniture. It’s a very good house but it could be much better.

We loved this home. Big enough for everyone. We loved the location. It was so nice to go out the door and be on the beach. We found so many shark teeth and beautiful shells. We had a wonderful time.

Beautiful Home

We truly enjoyed our stay here. Location was perfect, rooms are spacious and comfortable. Being there on business, it was frustrating to have an unstable wireless connection. We also needed to deep clean the ice maker because it had a lot of mildew built up, but to our dismay it stopped working after a day or so. Although messages were replied to very promptly, I would recommend that the property owners (or customer service representatives) familiarize themselves with some of the intricacies of the house, as anytime I would receive a reply, it was from a different representative who didn’t seem familiar with some of the features of the home (such as the correct router to use or how to play music through the speakers in the ceiling, we figured those things out by accident). One of the chairs in the living room had a significant amount of dog hair on its pillow, and the utensil drawers need to be cleaned out. We needed to clean the grill ahead of using it, but only used it once because we couldn’t tell how much propane was in the tank, and we couldn’t find a backup.All in all, we had a nice stay. Maybe there needs to be some extra care by the cleaners regarding the utensil drawers and the pet hair, and perhaps the internet router(s) need to be replaced, but we made adjustments and enjoyed our stay.

Everything we'd hoped

This home was perfect for our North Carolina beach holiday. The layout with 2 master bedrooms upstairs, kitchen and living space in the middle, and more bedrooms below was perfect. The decks on each level are wonderful. The kitchen was very well appointed. Location is excellent with stores only a few miles away and the beach right down the stairs.

Disappointment

Lacking proper maintenance. Management needs to take advantage of the off season to do the required renovations. Had to purchase household cleaning products to clean the place ourselves. Bought chemical to unclog shower drains. Oven so dirty it couldn't be use ( doubt it can be cleaned, people misunderstanding of self cleaning has lead to the condition of the oven) years of build up of mildew along grout lines by sink counter and backsplash. Floor tiles are bulging. Build up of scale on shower doors. I SHOULD MAKE IT CLEAR THAT THE CLEANING FEE CHARGED WAS REFUNDED. I sent pictures to management upon chek in showing the condition of the property. This property may be acceptable to some guest, but it wasn't to us. In the past 3 years between work and family we have rented over 30 properties, some for up to 3 months, I've seen worse than this.

Family Vacation

The house was not ready when promised. We were told we could check in at 4pm but it was not ready until 6pm. This was hard since several in our party had driven over 4 hours to arrive. Other than that we had a great time. A couple of glitches with the elevator but the management company was very responsive. Fun family vacation.
