This a sadly neglected gorgeous old building. It felt like staying at someone's grandma's house. Dust, cobwebs, generally dirty, previous guest's food crumbs on the kitchen floor, dispensers in the shower completely empty, no milk and cream in the fridge as advertised. Passive aggressive garish signage about the "rules" all over the room and property. Way overpriced. Only redeeming quality is location.

We originally booked the Cleopatra and Caesar rooms, but due to my mobility issues, we needed to make a change. The host was incredibly accommodating and made the transition seamless for us. We were switched to the Garden Suite, and it exceeded our expectations. The suite itself was beautiful—clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. The kitchen was especially well stocked with all the dishes and essentials we needed, which made it easy for us to prepare both dinner and breakfast during our stay. What truly stood out was how responsive and attentive the host was to all of our inquiries. It made the entire experience stress-free and welcoming. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely be returning. Highly recommend!

The location is excellent but I was disappointed with the accommodation. . The room was dated the upstairs sleeping area was up stairs that were steep . There was no escape if there ever was a fire. They advertised cream and milk in the rooms no cream there was no shampoo or soap in the bathrooms we had to figure out the Tv as it wasn't hooked up and
