The resort is an older property but it is VERY well maintained. The staff is top-notch and so accommodating. The restaurants offered an array of menu items and the market and gift shop were stocked nicely as well. My favorite part of my stay was enjoying all the activities that they plan each day! You could always choose to lounge around the beautiful pool area or partake in a game of bingo, do a little dancing or just relax in your room/suite and enjoy the beautiful views.

The staff at Oyster Pond were excellent and they provided a good range of free entertainment. The daily happy hours at the bar (buy one/get one free) was great. The outdoor pool was refreshing, with lounge chairs and umbrellas always available. The only drawback is the beach, due to the sargassum (seaweed) there is a smell and it has to be raked daily. If you’re content with the pool, it’s a great place to stay, however if the beach is a must for you, consider staying elsewhere on the Caribbean side.

The staff was amazing, Dalia in the restaurant was so friendly, and can make the best lattes! This property is a hidden gem, with breathtaking views of the ocean, and mountains. This stay was a much needed getaway, and I can’t wait to return.

The property was nice and clean. Unfortunately the front desk staff failed to inform us that the room we booked 6 months prior to our visit was” Sold out”. When we arrived we were told we got a “ complimentary upgrade” which wasn’t in fact an upgrade. We receive a one bedroom and studio connected room rather than the courtyard loft. The studio room started leaking from the ceiling and the floors were soaked. The staff popped the water bubble on the ceiling and put down towels to keep the floor dry. We also were locked out of our room during the tropical storm and we weren’t given a time estimate on when it would be fixed. We were not compensated for any of our convenience and the front desk staff didn’t seem to have any urgency with our concerns. The staff in the veranda bistro were so nice, friendly courteous and made the unpleasant stay more Pleasant. The house attendants were great, the food was amazing drinks were amazing overall the stay was ok but I would not return to this resort.
