Actual location of the hotel was vastly different than the pictures portrayed online. Hotel (The Domain) was given 4-star status on Expedia's site, no way. Arrived very late in the evening, checked out the next morning and stayed at another hotel (Embassy Suites) for the remainder of our trip. Wouldn't even have stayed the night if we hadn't arrived so late. Makes me question the validity and reliability of booking with Expedia again if the portrayal of hotels on their site is so vastly different than the reality. Extremely inconvenient.

I wanted to give 5 stars. The property itself is excellent; the common area attractive and cheerful. The staff were excellent. But the “premier” room I stayed in had issues. For a modest fee upgrade I got a suite. Huge. Nice bedroom and bathroom. But the sitting room was not what I’d think of as a premier suite. In the day it was fine with a sliding glass door to a balcony towards the pool and an outdoor balcony. So plenty of light. In the night the sitting room was depressing. One spotlight…yes spotlight with no diffusion facing down and filling the room with shadows. And the amenity setup was more suitable for a budget motel than a premier room. No actual glasses or cups, only plastic and paper. And a coffee machine setup more suitable for a budget motel than a premier room. I had stayed in a normal room in this hotel some years ago and they used to have Keuring machines and real cups and glasses. It makes a difference in the experience.

There was mold in the bathroom, red spots on the carpet, the phone wasn’t working, and housekeeping didn’t come by even though I requested housekeeping twice. I asked them to fix all of those things and a low-functioning AC unit, and they only fixed the AC. However, fixing the AC meant scraping out black gunk that they left on the floor under the unit.

Room was noisy and breakfast was bad. Hash browns must have been from the day before, very hard. Bananas had something white on the skin. Just bad, will not be returning. The room that I selected was rate a 9 out of 10. They must of given my room to someone else.

The staff was polite and pleasant the room was clean however the first room we had the heater didn’t work and the refrigerator wasn’t cooling very well also the ceiling above the bed on one side had a bubble in it so let the front desk know and it was over a hour later staff came up and had us switch rooms thank goodness bed was comfortable and everything worked in the second room I would say that I feel instead of the hotel property offering a shared microwave which is near the check in desk the rooms should have a microwave in them it’s really not convenient to have go clear over to the check in area anytime you want to heat up food so if your cozy in pjs have to change to go down there ugh I also don’t understand why charge for parking is everyone supposed to take a ride share or bus to get there
