Our lovely 4 day experience at Shinta Mani began with the space itself, which can be described as an immersive retreat. The residence has beautiful water features and local plant life, and always had a calming lemongrass/jasmine scent, with many lotuses. (Just remember bug spray) On top of the relaxing environment, the amenities were also excellent; especially the food offerings. We looked forward to breakfast everyday- a tasteful blend of modern and traditional cuisines. Their options for lunch and dinner were also well selected. The hospitality service was outstanding. The staff team was very personable, and passionate about their job. Donny at the front desk, and Chantha at the breakfast buffet especially stood out to us with their service. We looked forward to the staff, and Shinta Mani experience throughout our stay.

The staff is exceptional and they are a hospitality training hotel. Should out to one of the butlers, Grace, who can make things happen. Bensley Design created an elegant design with the perfect splash of whimsy. Rooms fitted out welll, spacious bathrooms. Restaurants outstanding. Lovely breakfast buffet, do not miss the banana bread. Kroya fine dining has a most exceptional tasting menu. We went twice! With 14 years since my last visit and so much change to the city, it was delightful to find these pockets of love.

I have to say this is probably the nicest place I’ve ever stayed in Asia. So clean. So beautiful. The people were 10 out of 10 that worked here. I truly beautiful place to spend your time in between adventuring over such a cool area. I will highly recommend this destination and specifically this resort. The staff was so accommodating and helpful. They treated us like family, happy to see us every day. Truly, a special experience that I recommend anyone looking for a place to see for themselves.

Overall the property was good. The grounds are nice, the pool is relaxing, and we had a godo time. I was traveling with my very pregnant wife and six-year old daughter. We had reserved a room that had an extra room with an additional bed and a sitting area. The hotel has two separate buildings and the room we reserved was on the top floor in the primary building. When they showed us the room, it was very nice, but that building does not have an elevator. They offered to move us to the other building which has an elevator which we thought was very accommodating of them. However, that room did not have the extra bed and sitting area. We felt that we had to stay in the much smaller room due to the stairs/elevator issue, but were overall very disappointed in staying in a much smaller room without any offer of a price discount. Overall, very disappointed and we will look for other accommodations the next time that we visit Siem Reap.
