Our first room had a chair that should have been trashed. Stains all over it and it smelled horrible. Bodily fluids visible. They moved us to a new room which smelled of mold. Ladybugs were everywhere in the room. Bleach stains on carpet. There was one biscuit left for 5 people to fight over. Everything was empty and no other breakfast available. The night person has her children in lobby and uses the hotel to babysit her kids. Weird guy hangs around the outside of the hotel and he wears a hoodie. I cannot believe that they allow this hotel to continue to stay open. Makes me never ever stay at Laquita again and I loved there hotels. Please do better!!!

First and foremost, one side of the curtain was broken, preventing me from fully covering the window, and the outside light continued to shine into the room. From my understanding, breakfast is served from 6 AM to 9 AM on weekdays and from 7 AM to 10 AM on weekends. I went down to get breakfast around 9:30 AM on a Sunday. A woman was cleaning the dining area, lifting chairs and placing them on top of the tables. I didn’t think much of it and continued walking toward the food section. There was a man with several plates serving himself. As my family and I approached the counter, the woman who had been cleaning came over and informed us that breakfast had already ended. She then unplugged the waffle machine rather pointedly and remarked, “Y’all can grab whatever is left in the bagel cabinet. If there’s still something.” The man quietly muttered, “I didn’t know, since you didn’t tell me anything.” The entire interaction left me feeling that both my family and I were treated unfairly. While we have been guests at this hotel in the past, this experience has convinced me that my family and I will not be returning to the La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham in Marshall.

The room smelled damp/mildewy as soon as I walked in. Wi-Fi didn’t work. The TV didn’t have cable available so you couldn’t watch anything since the Wi-Fi was unavailable. You get what you pay for. It’s on the cheaper end and you can tell by how dated the rooms are.

Staff were friendly and rooms were clean. The only complaints were the couch in our room was very old. Couldn’t even sit on it. Furniture in the waiting area/dining room was stained and dirty. Definitely needs replaced.
