The "Royal Elk Chalet" is a spacious three-story cabin with breath taking panoramic views of the Great Smokey Mountains. It is perched high on the mountain in the Little Cove community with no obstructions to observe the fall foliage transform into brilliant colors.

Welcome to our luxurious cabin, the "Royal Elk Chalet." Located at the edge of Pigeon Forge, just 8-10 minutes to its downtown. If you are looking for spectacular views of the Smokey Mountains, then our cabin is the one for you! Views can be enjoyed from one of the three covered decks or the large 7 seating hot tub. The cabin boasts convenience to numerous area attractions, yet you will feel the privacy and seclusion of the mountains. Offering 4 king suites, large common spaces and wrap around covered decks, there is room for all the guests to enjoy.

You will enter on the main level to an open floor plan with a two-story living room, stone gas fireplace, and large illuminating cathedral windows of the spectacular mountain views. The fully equipped kitchen is a great gathering place for guest to have cocktails while the meals are being prepared. Enjoy indoor/outdoor dining on the main level with the large dining room table, breakfast nook table or outdoor picnic table. Relax and enjoy the 75-inch 4K TV in the main living room. Then, retreat to the 2 main level king suites with private bathrooms and relax either in the jetted tubs or double headed showers. The suites also have their own private entry to the mountainside deck.

The loft above is the perfect oasis for kids to enjoy their own space with a queen over queen bunk bed, a full bathroom, private entry to the third level deck and a gaming console to keep them entertained.

The lower-level entertainment /game room was designed with fun in mind. The space includes a 70-inch 4K TV, gas fireplace, a wet bar kitchen with coffee maker, wine fridge and ice maker, &, a pool table, a poker table, and plenty of board games. (Fireplaces in operation October to March). This level includes two more king suites with either jetted tub bath tub or double head showers. Enter the lower-level deck and enjoy the 7-person hot tub.

While staying at the "Royal Elk Chalet," there is much to do and see, including fishing, hiking, swimming, wildlife viewing and enjoying all the local attractions. After a long day of attractions and outdoor activities, jump into the hot tub and soak your cares away or relax and have a drink or coffee on a single or double rockers on the deck. There is something for everyone! The "Royal Elk Chalet" is truly spectacular place that promises to create lasting memories for you and your loved ones!
Make yourself comfortable in this air-conditioned cabin, which features a fireplace and a Smart TV. There's a private balcony. A kitchen is outfitted with a refrigerator, an oven, and a stovetop. Complimentary wireless internet access is available to keep you connected. A private bathroom with a shower/tub combination features a jetted bathtub and a hair dryer.

we were just awakened by water coming from the bathroom upstairs all over my shoes and phone. This probably has been the worst experience so far. Between the bat, snake, multiple spider bites, spiders in tubs and now toilet water. The floor is soaked. I will send over photos of everything for your records. I would question your cleaning crew as this home had not been cleaned in a long time or just glossed over. Mouse poop on the ledges of the stairs. Dead and alive bugs everywhere. Each over head light in the downstairs stand-up shower bathroom is covered in dead bugs. The petrified bat ordeal while makeup and hair stylist were there was a hand full as they wanted to leave from being scared. I understand being in the woods with occasional critters but this was every night something new. And for a dead bat to be there that long without the cleaners ever noticing is something I can’t understand. The hot tub was not cleaned. There was bugs, poop and foam all the the walls. We opened it and instantly said nevermind. Windows on the main floor were open when we arrived. This property, unfortunately, was in no condition to be rented out. I strongly urge the owner or management to personally inspect the home and have a serious conversation with the cleaning and maintenance teams.

The house is very beautiful, spacious, with a beautiful view. But It's a bit scary to go there, I wouldn't risk going in the winter with snow. and the house needs more attention. The kitchen cabinets need a good cleaning. The sheets on one bed smelled of sweat. The other bed was all stained. The walls of the bathroom shower were dirty. The internet there is really bad, forget it.

Holidays in the Smokey's

I get my adult kids together each year for an early holidays and this year we picked the Smokey's. The house was amazing and very comfortable for the 7 of us and we loved the all suites set up. The hot tub was very clean and enjoyable after a day in the park. We had everything we needed for meal preparation in the kitchen and it was comfortable for 3 people to help in preparation. I would come back and recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a place away from the hustle and bustle of town.

Great Cabin

Very clean. Decorated for Christmas. Enjoyed the roomy cabin. The only issue we had was that the main fireplace did not work. The host was trying to get it fixed but no one came while we were there to fix it. It was cold and would have been nice to have had the fireplace. But the beds were comfy and the four suites were nice. The kids enjoyed the loft bunk beds and the hot tub. They really liked playing cornhole on the deck. The views were amazing. It is a steep road to get to the cabin.

Friendsgiving Perfection

This was the perfect stay for our mountain getaway Friendsgiving. Each couple had their own bathroom and our fun gathering space downstairs allowing our little one to sleep peacefully without us having to worry about being too loud. My only comment is that the floors/ carpet could use a better clean. Especially the area rugs. We don’t wear shoes indoors so the bottom of our feel or socks would be dirty. Best to call if assistance is needed as app or email response is lacking. Would definitely stay here again though for our yearly trip!!

Incredible second stay, breathtaking views

We have just returned from our second stay at this incredible lodge. Hosts are fantastic, everything has been thought out to allow guests to enjoy a vacation not to forget. Views are unrivalled. If looking for a lodge in the Smokey’s, I would highly recommend this property, it has everything you could need with panoramic views that you’ll never get tired of. BEAUTIFUL & RELAXING GET-AWAY

Our stay was wonderful. The scenery is beautiful, the cabin is not located close to any other cabins, so it was quiet and peaceful. The cabin was spacious, so there was plenty of room for 3-4 couples. We will be back for sure!

Even Nicer than the Listing Portrays

We stayed with 8 adults and two toddlers. More than plenty of room and plenty to do. The house sits literally atop a mountain and the views are spectacular. Every morning woke to see the clouds in the valleys and trees below us. The listing is accurate and the photos current. All too often the photos shown are outdated, but not the case here. The road getting to the house is windy and the final drive to the house is very steep. But a small price to pay for such outstanding views. Had an issue with the Wi-Fi, and the owner got back to us literally within minutes and had the issue resolved right away. Much appreciated. Owner sent a greeting email during check in telling us to contact her should any issues arise during our stay. Definitely will return again.

Winter cabin werkend

Everything was beautiful :) The only issue we had was the power went out due to a windstorm. It was fixed within 6 hrs. The outage left us without WiFi. We could not use our phone’s messaging or our email. We made the best of it though 😁. The cabin had gas fireplaces so we did have some heat. We got to watched Football on Saturday :) So everyone was happy😁 We had plenty of room for games and eating. Very enjoyable time.

Best cabin yet

Over the past 20 years, we have stayed in many cabins in the pigeon Forge/Sevierville/Gatlinburg area. All have been nice but a couple of disappointments. This one was the best one yet. All furniture and beds were comfortable, every amenity you could think of, beautiful views. we and three other couples, all of us in our 60s, stayed there for a Friday through Monday trip. It was perfect for the eight of us and could have accommodated others as well. Absolutely the best cabin we have ever stayed in and plan to maybe stay there in the future with our children and grandchildren. hi they recommend. And, oh yes, the drive to it is a little steep when you leave the main road, but it is not long and it is not bad. Definitely have driven on worse!

Royal Elk Chalet

Absolubtley fantastic... Many people call me hard to please but the Royal Elk Chalet far exceeded my expectations. My son and wife said they had one of the best vacations ever. The views from the chalet were outsatnding, pretty sure all of the surrounding lodges and chalets had 'View envy'. Pigeon forge and Gatlingburg also both have lots to offer and make great days out for all whether kids or adults. Looking to booking again for sure.
