This is by far the best cabin stay we have had! It was the perfect mountain vacation. The cabin has everything you can ask for. I was able to relax and read by the river, and also enjoyed playing in the river with kids. They had calm water areas that even my special needs kiddo could enjoy. The kids loved the swim spa, the movie theater area, and they especially thought that kids play area on the third floor was THE COOLEST! My husband and I are already talking about coming back next summer and this time we will make sure our stay is even longer!

Perfect for quality family time

This property is wonderful for bringing the family together while also offering options for privacy. Our family enjoyed being on the river and taking in the peaceful surroundings. The location is very private but close to many activities so even with a diverse group of interests there was something for everyone. The cabin is beautiful, very clean, and welcoming. We can’t speak highly enough of our stay.

Beyond incredible

We have stayed in many cabins in the past 10 years. Skipping Stone surpassed all prior homes we stayed in. The privacy, the location, the on river space, the parking, the room, the swimspa, the porch space, the outdoor fireplace, and I could go on and on. We have absolutely zero complaints. We had a small concerned when we arrived, but after hours was available immediately. It was hard to leave this home after our vacation. The 3rd floor was a child's dream. Several family members played pool. It was nice to have both types of coffee makers. The kitchen was full of any items we needed to prepare meals. Many had made comments on the driveway, but we did not have any issues at all. We hope to be back on one of our next vacations.

Great Family stay

We loved our stay. Could be the place we go every year for our family trip. The “road” to the driveway was a little sketchy and the turn to the driveway is a little hairy. But over all the place is amazing and we all enjoyed every part of it, from the swim spa to the fireplace to the upstairs play area to the decorated Christmas Tree.

Perfect little get-away

The cabin was as describe. It is big, clean, close to locate amenities, and the perfect place for our family's needs. I do believe some of the bath rooms need updated fixtures, but it was usable. The outdoor fireplace was the gathering place, and was beautiful right next to the river! I will definitively be adding this to my list of favorites!

Family Vacation

We had our kids and grandkids together for a great week! Spent most days playing and swimming in the river right in front of the cabin and then enjoying wonderful meals sitting around the huge picnic table on the covered porch. Everyone had a blast with all the games and spent a lot of time just relaxing in the swim spa or sitting on the porch listening to the sound of the river. A great time was had by all!

This was a beautiful location and a really fun stay. The river was a huge bonus and there was always something to do. It’s bigger than I expected, and more to do than pictured. Nothing Short of Amazing

Skipping Stone definitely covered all of the bases!!! The place is absolutely gorgeous, all rooms are HUGE and the location is breathtaking!!! Diane was wonderful with communication and even called personally to give us a heads up on a weather alert. I highly recommended Skipping Stone for a family getaway and hope to return in the summer so we can enjoy the river even more!

This place is heavenly

This place is absolutely wonderful! It is everything is says it is and more. The views are amazing! This house is right on the river. You can hear the water from inside the house. House was clean. Beds were comfortable. We didn’t have kids with us. But it is a perfect place to bring kids. So much to do inside and outside the house. We did not want to leave. I highly recommend this vacation rental. You won’t be disappointed.

Excellent house for families

The description and pictures do not do this house justice. The four identical master bedrooms, game area, movie area, porches and outside space give everyone an opportunity to relax and unwind. Fishing was fantastic as was swimming in the river. We will definitely go back to this cabin.

Vacation 2023 in the books!

We had an amazing stay! The house is beautiful. The porches were a perfect place to sit and have your morning coffee with a great view of the river. Abundant wildlife..otters., ducks, and we wven saw a bald eagle flying over the river. I wpuld recommend a truck or SUV, something eith a little clearance to navigate the driveway. My little Lexus had a difficult time with srubbing. Overall, a great place. I will book this cabin again in the future!

Serene Setting

We brought our adult children together and hir families. To have 4 master suites was wonderful to provide the privacy desired. The two floors of suites with common areas kept the home decompressed. The outside living area was the star. The decks and the covered fireplace area was a wonderful place for everyone to gather at the end of the day and relax. We grilled out and the owners quickly replaced the propane when low. They were very responsive when we had a need. The river outside is clear and you can see the fish (trout). A wonderful place to kickback and relax.
