We really wanted to love our stay at this cabin, and the host was very nice and always quick to respond, which we truly appreciated. Unfortunately, the overall cleanliness of the cabin was a major disappointment.When we arrived, the floors did not appear to have been mopped, and there was thick dust buildup on the doors, baseboards, shelves, and other surfaces. There was also what appeared to be black mold in the jetted tub, as well as blood on one of the bathroom floors. These things were especially concerning and made us question how thoroughly the cabin had been cleaned between guests.The beds were also very hard and uncomfortable. Additionally, the hot tub did not appear to have been drained and cleaned prior to our arrival and had an extremely strong chlorine smell.The host herself was kind, friendly, and very responsive, so we have no complaints about communication. However, the cleanliness and condition of the cabin unfortunately took away from our overall experience. With a much more thorough cleaning and better attention to these issues, this could be a really nice place to stay.

The property was not clean and not kept up. Dishwasher was out of order. Bed was so hard we had to go to Belk to get a mattress pad. Guy showed up the next day saying he had a part but hadn’t fixed it yet. Shower is so small I had to hold my leg out of the shower to wash it. Cabin not stocked well. There were some blinds but many were broken. There was some windows and doors that didn’t have blinds at all. Maintenance showed up with no call before hand and complained about margins and started crying. He must have had a bad day. He made us uncomfortable. Multiple lightbulbs out.
