About this property

Earth Dome @ Seneca Treehouse Project

WOW, the Earth Dome is one of the coolest structures at the Seneca Treehouse Project. Come stay with us and learn about resilient homesteading, while enjoying the boats and the beach at Lake Hartwell, just a few minutes walk from the Dome. STP is the homebase for Treehouse Trade School, creating online and in person training for resilient community development. Our earth dome is perfect for solo retreats, quality time with friends, or couples. Because life is too short to be ordinary!

The Earth Dome Homesteading Adventure

This lovely earthen dome offers a comfortable room in the midst of a small scale homestead. It has access to a community outdoor kitchen and bathroom with a propane stove, refrigerator, hot shower, and toilet.

Fresh Food From the Garden

We usually have eggs fruits and vegetables from our garden. If you would like a guided tour, we can schedule that for an additional fee and you`re welcome to help yourself to walk around the site.
The shared kitchen and bathroom are close to the chicken coop so you may hear the sounds of the birds during your stay. We usually do not keep roosters. You can access the lake through our adjacent property in which you can enjoy the canoes kayaks paddle boards and a nice beach for swimming.
On Lake Hartwell, close to Clemson SC, and the southern Appalachian mountains.
The Earth Dome is located at The Seneca Treehouse Project, a permaculture learning center home base to and homestead development organization with a mission to help each other live in harmony with our planet.
By staying with us, you are contributing to the development of a Trade School focused on Sustainable & Regenerative development of people and our planet. And for that, we thank you!
If you would like to book additional rooms please check out our other listings. We look forward to serving you and sincerely appreciate your support!

Garden - Kitchen - Bathroom

You are welcome to anything in the garden or outdoor kitchen/bathroom space. The other buildings may be used by other guests.

The Lake!

You have full access to the lake by traveling across the road, around the left side of the main house, and down the hill to the lake.

Boats

Enjoy the paddle boats, but just please remember to put the boats, paddles, and life jackets back when you are done.

Thank you, and enjoy your stay!

You can call or text Scottie B if you need anything, or just come a knockin`

If Scott is not on site, it`s possible that another resident, or Treehouse team member is available.

If outside, you may see us, animals, or other guests. We also have a lot of friends and family coming by that you may run into. We value community, but the Earth Dome itself is private, and one of the quieter spaces, nestled off in the food forest next to a pond.

This is a learning center, and the home for Treehouse Trade School. We call it Treehouse, because our goal is to Inspire and empower people to live in harmony with God`s creation. You will have an opportunity to become a Tree Scout and learn more about the Trade School once you arrive!
